Iwtl Took Spanish in school a decade ago and remember absolutely nothing, I need to refresh my spanish

I studied Spanish for three years in secondary school and genuinely cannot tell you a single thing beyond hola and a few food words. That was about eleven years ago. Looking at schools in Malaga specifically because I'll be there for most of the summer anyway, but I'm stuck on the placement piece.

Every school asks you to self-classify your level and I feel the pull to put intermediate because beginner sounds embarrassing, but I'd be lying. Honest answer is I'm somewhere below A1 in practice even if there's possibly some fossilized grammar buried in my brain. Wondering whether a placement assessment actually sorts this out or if I have to figure it out myself before I enroll.

regular “extra hot” snacks are less interesting than tingly málà snacks

most super spicy snacks just feel like pain tolerance competitions now honestly.

sichuan pepper snacks are way more interesting because the numbness + citrusy flavor actually changes the whole experience instead of just making your mouth hurt for 5 minutes.

after getting into málà snacks recently, normal spicy chips kind of taste one-dimensional to me now.

remote work destroyed my ability to finish government forms

every time i start DS-82:

slack notification

client email

meeting invite

random emergency

then 3 hours later i'm staring at the form wondering if i already answered section 5 correctly.

Finally pulling the trigger on a sprinkler system, what should I expect cost and timeline wise?

We've been hand watering our lawn and beds in Redmond for five years and I'm done with it. Already lost a bunch of hydrangeas last August when we were out of town. Has anyone put in an irrigation system recently in the Eastside? Curious what a typical install timeline looks like and whether I should go with an irrigation specialist or a full landscaping company that handles it in house.

customers still don’t understand what customized products actually look like before ordering

running a small custom sneaker shop and honestly the biggest issue right now isn’t traffic, it’s customers misunderstanding the final product before delivery.

we have product photos, mockups, even sizing guides, but people still message us asking how colors/materials will actually look together in real life.

i started researching interactive product previews for Shopify because static mockups clearly aren’t enough anymore, especially for personalized products.

also btw i noticed customers spend way longer on pages where they can actively rotate or customize products themselves instead of just scrolling images.

has anyone here used a 3D configurator that actually improved conversions without slowing the whole store down?

Spring has me firing up the grill every weekend but the usual sides all blend together. I researched bbq-friendly snacks with tongue tingling sensation and floral aroma priced from eight to fifteen dollars. Many talk about the citrusy tingle but I need ones that cut through smoky flavors. I’m looking for the best place or website for snacks that deliver real electric mouth feel at a cookout.

My role in finance in Uptown has expanded a ton this year with more team leadership but the compensation conversation keeps getting delayed. I know I am underpaid for what I am doing now and these talks have never been my strength. I want to go in prepared instead of accepting whatever is offered. I started researching career coaches for negotiation preparation. Most require a consult first before they explain their approach. Has anyone here actually worked with a career coach before negotiating a promotion?

Ok genuinely losing it. Trying to renew before a work trip and the official renewal page has booted me out four times now, twice right after I uploaded the photo. I assumed it was my browser so I tried a different one. Same thing.

Is the gov site just like this or am I doing something wrong with the session? Starting to wonder if I should just print the PDF version and mail it the old fashioned way at this point.

working as the only senior dev on a manufacturing tool that has been around forever. the ui layer is all custom controls and heavy data binding that breaks every time we add a new report. spent weeks watching scattered youtube videos but they never cover how to untangle years of accumulated mess without breaking production. tried building a small test project on the side to practice better patterns but keep running into the same binding and command issues.

really tired of piecing together random tutorials that assume everything starts clean. looking for something structured that walks through real world refactoring step by step.

has anyone found a WPF course that actually helped clean up a tangled legacy desktop application?

been working as a graphic designer stuck in back-to-back meetings and spring has me back on strict meal prep but everything starts tasting like cardboard by mid-week. I want something that adds excitement without extra cooking time or calories. I researched quick add-ins and found snacks with tongue tingling sensation and floral aroma priced from nine to fifteen dollars. most mention the electric numbing buzz but I need ones that hold their citrusy tingle in the fridge. I’m looking for reliable recommendations on snacks that give that proper electric mouth feel for lunches.
