Convince me that the Co-anda 2x round brush is better than the Airwrap i.d. round brush for my hair type

I don’t own a Dyson yet, budget isn’t an issue, so I’m just trying to pick the right one to buy. I got to test an i.d. (borrowed one) and the round brush worked really well on my hair — fine, low density, 2C-3A curls, just below shoulder length, gets fluffy/frizzy easily (Mediterranean type)

My hesitation: since I’m buying either way, why not just get the newer Co-anda 2x? But looking at the two round brushes side by side, the i.d.’s bristles are basically fine metal pins that really grip the hair, while the Co-anda 2x has tapered, ball-tipped bristles designed to glide with less snagging.

Isn’t that grip/tension literally what makes a round brush smooth the cuticle in the first place? If the new brush is designed to grip less, wouldn’t that mean less tension and a less smooth result — especially on fine hair that doesn’t have much resistance to begin with?

Has anyone with similar hair used both? Does the Co-anda 2x brush actually smooth as well as the i.d., or is there a real case where the “older” brush just works better for certain hair types?

Rabies risk from a superficial kitten scratch in Zanzibar?

I’m currently staying at a famous boutique hotel in Jambiani, Zanzibar, and today I was accidentally scratched by one of the resident kittens.
Here are the details:
-The kitten is about 10 weeks old.
-The hotel has one adult cat and two kittens that live there permanently. They have names and are fed by the owners every day.
-The owner’s young child plays with them regularly, and they even hang around with the owner’s dog.
-The kitten was not aggressive. I was offering it a piece of fish, and it accidentally caught the tip of my finger with its claw while trying to grab the food.
-There was only one tiny drop of blood.
I immediately washed the area thoroughly with soap and water, then disinfected it.
A few hours later, the scratch is no longer even visible.
The kitten is still behaving completely normally (playing, eating, no unusual behavior).
I know rabies exists in Tanzania, but I haven’t found much information about recent rabies cases in Zanzibar, especially involving cats.
Would you consider this an exposure that warrants rabies post-exposure vaccination, or does the fact that these are healthy resident hotel cats that can continue to be observed significantly lower the risk?
I’m planning to see a doctor tomorrow, but I’d appreciate hearing your thoughts or experiences.
Thank you.

Precision Airlines got me so confused

Hi there! Maybe someone here had a similar experience or can help.

We booked a flight months ago with Precision Airline from Kilimandjaro airport to Zanzibar. The initial flight was scheduled at 14h25. But fast forward a few weeks later, they changed our flights THREE times and the flight they gave us is now at midnight. I am very confused because I still see our initial flight but also many other flights earlier in the day…
Why? Is there something we can do? I don’t see myself arriving in Stone Town in the middle of the night.
Thanks in advance

What are your criterias when booking with an operator or a guide?

Hello! Jambo!

My husband and I will be in Zanzibar the last 2 weeks of july. I have a good idea of the activities we want to do...but once it is time to actually book one, I am a bit lost on how to choose. For example, on Get Your Guide, if I type Mnemba Tour they are a LOT. Do you have any advice when it comes to choosing an operator? Besides good reviews because they all have good reviews.

Also any tips or things to avoid is welcome! We will be staying in StoneTown, Kendwa and Jambiani. On my list I have

- Prison Island

- Joziani Forrest

- Mnemba Island

- One Farm spice
