Swing Trading - What’s Your Process?

Hi everyone,

Longtime lurker, first-time poster!

Ive been trading for a couple of years and looking to use swing trading as my strategy. I’ve been lucky the past few months simply by buying positions for large cap companies when they are low based on 3MM / YTD trends and selling when they go up (ie RDDT dip earlier this month). I’m patient with my positions, ideally looking to close in a month but don’t mind it going out to 3 months. Still learning and going through resources in the wiki, but a few questions:

How do you analyze data, trends, or company fundamentals when deciding whether to buy or sell?

If you use Robinhood, are there any tools or features within the app that you actually find useful when researching investments or making decisions?

How do you determine when it’s time to sell? For example, I recently held onto a position hoping to hit a 10% gain, even though I could have locked in an 8% profit and am now holding for a bit longer. Do you stick to your profit targets, use technical indicators, or reassess based on new information?

Bad Bunny PreConcert Events

Hi Everyone,

Going to Bad Bunny on Wednesday but was wondering if anyone is aware of pre-concert events for a pregame (bar/club/event)? If not, is it ok and legal to drink outside the stadium before the concert?
