Service specialist role

Hey everyone,

I was just offered a position at a brand new store that will be opening in the next 3-4 weeks or so. I was hired as a "service specialist." Basically, they told me they are going to have this position be a one person department with the idea that I would be responsible for building the bikes, helping customers with service needs and probably helping build treadmills and other equipment when needed. This seems to be a newer position in the company but I was hoping if there are any people working this or people with knowledge about the position could tell me there thoughts. Seems like the culture is great as well as the pay and benefits but Im just curious on others thoughts!

Thanks in advanced!

2022 Water pump drip

Hey everyone,

I was looking for some advice based on others experience. I have a 2022 Mt09 with about 8000 miles on it. It sat for about 4 months until the other day when I had to start it to load it into the bed of my truck as I was moving. While it was in the bed I noticed some blue drips directly underneath the bike and found this wet area with coolant dripping off the bottom of the water pump. When I made it to my destination and unloaded it, I ran the engine for a few minutes and the leak was more active then when it was off but still was just a drop every 30 seconds or so. I went to my local yamaha dealer and ordered a new Assembly as I saw others online had reported this to be somewhat common if the bike sat. Fast forward to today, the part came in and I let the engine warm up for about 10 minutes. Guess what, NO MORE LEAK! So, if anyone has experienced this, did you leave it alone and see what happens or did you just go ahead and replace the pump? I will be commuting on it about 60 miles a day starting Monday and obviously dont want to have an issue getting to and from work.

Give me some thoughts, thanks!

KoolRv ducting

Hey everyone!

If this isn't allowed, I'm sorry, but I just replaced my Dometic AC with a Chill cube and wanted to see if anyone was interested in the KoolRv ducting kit that I had. We only had it installed for about 6 months. We had it in the Dometic Air Brisk 2 but I think it works for a couple other Dometic systems.

Chill cube in very high heat climates?

Hey everyone!

I have a 2019 Winnebago travel trailer that I installed a new chill cube with the heat pump. So far its a great upgrade over the failing dometic unit that it came with. Last year we spent our winter in the Phoenix area and when we got there in September it was still around 105-109 for about a month and the old dometic unit was able to keep the trailer at about 85-89 degrees, which wasn't great but its what I expected out of it.

My question is for anyone that is living in a climate similar to Phoenix. How has it been performing and what kind of temperatures has it been able to keep the interior at while in the 105-115 degree range?

Thanks in advance!

Dometic Brisk Air 2

Hey everyone!

Im hoping someone can point me in a direction. I have a 2019 Winnebago TT with the Dometic Brisk Air 2 AC. While its cooling properly the compressor is starting to have a rattle type noise that starts as soon as the compressor engages and then stops as soon as the compressor stops. I keep everything clean as far as the filters and components go so I know it's not a maintenance issue. I looked at the bushings that the compressor is mounted to the base with and they are definitely showing age and wear. I have been searching for replacements but the only ones I seem to find have been discontinued. Has anyone been able to find replacement parts?

Thanks in advance!
