Neo Agenda for EDiT - Mark's Inc.

Neo Agenda for EDiT from Mark's Inc.

I remember falling in love with Tomoe River 52 gsm paper from old machinery the first time I used it years ago and no paper has close to it ever since until I tried Neo Agenda paper. It reminded me of that feeling again, the feeling of being in love with something.

Thin paper, crisp lines, smooth surface with just the right feedback, ink color representation is wonderful, high sheen and shading, minimal ghosting and absolutely no bleedthrough (except aggressive inks like Noodler's Baystate Blue).

The ruling on the paper is a 5mm dotted grid which is very faint in color that fades in the background with actual writing on it.

I still have loads of Tomoe River 52gsm old machinery paper in the form of loose sheets and notebooks and I feel I'm going to do that with this paper as well.

Inks used in Pilot Parallel pens :

6.0 mm - Taccia Ruri

4.5 mm - Bril Turquoise

3.8 mm - Taccia Sabimidori

3.0 mm - Aurora Blue Black

2.4 mm - Pilot Yama budo

1.5 mm - Diamine Bilberry

Kon Peki and Sailor 123 ink swatches were done using Speedball B-0 nib.

Have you used this paper? What do you think about it?

EEF nib. Noodler's BSB. Tomoe River 52gsm.

EEF nib with miniature writing (don't know if it's called that).

Initial impressions were promising though a lot of practice is required to write longer sessions.

Do you write like this for fun too?

Post your miniature writing samples, I would love to see them.

Also, any tips regarding this would be appreciated.

Current pile of notebooks in use

My current pile/collection of notebooks in use. Some notebooks are missing since they are already finished, and some are the notebooks which are reserved for future use since I use loose sheets of those papers.

These are all distinct papers with no 2 notebooks sharing the same paper. Some of these notebooks were made by me using kettle stitch binding.

Papers/Notebooks are (in no particular order) :

• Fabriano 90 gsm

• Nakabayashi 70 gsm

• Leuchtturm1917 80 gsm

• Leuchtturm1917 120 gsm

• Regalia paper from Endless 80 gsm

• Nakabayashi Yu-Sari

• Clairefontaine 55 gsm

• Tomoe River 52 gsm White

• Tomoe River 52 gsm Cream

• Tomoe River 68 gsm Cream

• B7 TRANext

• Cosmo Air Light 75 gsm

• Rollbahn

• Colorverse Nebula Casual Note 90 gsm

• Tomoe River Sanzen 52 gsm White

• Fabriano 70 gsm Ivory

• Life Noble

• MD white

• Muji High Quality paper

• Nakabayashi Grid notebook

• Pineider 55 gsm blue paper

• Nakabayashi 81.4 gsm

Papers like Graphilo, Cosmo Air Light 83 gsm, Tomoe River 68 gsm White, Tomoe River Sanzen 52 gsm Cream, Iroful, Life Bank paper, Mnemosyne, OK Fools, MD Cream, MD Cotton, Apica Silky, Kokuyo, Rhodia 80 gsm and 90 gsm, Clairefontaine 90gsm, and a couple more which I am forgetting (will edit as and when I'll recall) are used as loose sheets at the moment. I have notebooks/pads for all the papers though.

Still, there are a lot of papers I am missing and want to try but sourcing them here in India is a major problem. Still, I'm glad at least these were the ones I could buy and try.

What other papers which are fountain pen friendly do you want me to try? And if you are in India, it would be great if you can get me some leads to buy your recommended papers/notebooks.

Daily Dose of Mokapot. Day 2

Day 2. Added Oat milk to make a flat white. Certainly, the drink tasted different than the one with regular milk I am used to drinking but it wasn't something that caught me completely off guard. I will have a cold version of this coffee with oat milk to see how I like it.

Do you guys add milk to your coffee, if yes, do you have any preference? Oat, almond, or any other type?

Growling Moka Pot

Felt like my moka pot started the extraction in a growling manner along the song in the background. Seemed pretty funny to me.

Check out the band Piah Mater if you are a fan of Progressive Metal. The song in the video is Fallow Garden from their album Under the Shadow of A Foreign Sun.

2 more CDs arrived today. This is becoming addictive. Help me. (Don't)

Another brilliant VdGG album accompanied with my first Jethro Tull album in CD format. Both essential albums for prog fans in my opinion.

What are your views about these albums?

Pawn Hearts - VdGG

Absolutely magical album. One of my favourite albums in general. I got introduced to VdGG through this album and man, I was hooked. Strangely, no other album from them sounds like this one even though the other albums are superb too. But this album has my heart.

What are your views about the album?

Life Bank Paper

Life Bank paper notepad. Excellent paper. Comes with a blotter sheet as well.

No feathering and no bleedthrough. Minimal ghosting at best.

What are your thoughts about the paper?

Some modern Prog

I like this album. What about you?

Coffee with some Van der Graaf Generator in the background.

Another dark roast today with some milk and microfoam. Coupled with music from Van der Graaf Generator. Pawn Hearts is my favorite album from them.

Almost 3 years with this bad boy!

I love coffee via moka pot. Though I prefer to add a little milk with microfoam after the extraction.

I have tried with equal parts club soda on the side as well but never fancied that combo.

What other recipes do you guys have for me to try after I extract the coffee via this Bialetti moka pot?
