I have no clue what to do - even more so with a M16

I started this playthrough maybe... 30 minutes ago? Longest I've played a run so far. Still trying to figure out exactly what do to, because I am struggling a little right now

(My character) Who am I? For how long have the Zombies been here? How experienced am I? Is this my house? Do I have a family? Did they die? What am I suppose to do? Survive I suppose, but the house feels safe enough, why risk it all elsewhere?

Also finding a M16 + M9 with 4 mags each while I have no idea how to repair a window feels like WAY TOO MUCH power in my hands. I can tell I will probably die before getting to use them lol

Anyway, any tips about what to do? What's my objective here? Do I want to build a house, settle elsewhere, ugh Idk

The Modding community keeps getting better

This is simply a post in response to someone complaining about some mods being hidden behind paid subscription. (temporary, most of the time)

I genuinely don't understand how someone can be angry at not being able to instantly get every update for free.

I keep getting astonished at the quality of the mods that this community keeps getting out. It keeps reaching levels I never thought we'd see in PPG. Animations, abilities, controllable vehicles, intractability. Lets not forget the skills and dedication that it takes to make those mods come to life.

I am actually happy to see modding studios get paid. This will ONLy allow mods to become even better than they already are. We shouldn't take those mods for granted. They're unofficial addons to the game that were generously created by people like you and I.

Instead of complaining, be grateful for the plethora of mods at our disposition.
Thank you to everyone who has helped make this game and community into what it is today.

To end this meaningless rent, here are a few studios or modders that made me realize that the possibilities are endless in this game, and I can't wait to see where it's at in a few years.

Left to right: Batrix Studio, KatanaNoob, Nova, Studio 01)
