I forget who first shared it but I remembered today (well, I thought it was yesterday) was the day it went on sale! *IS* it exorbitantly expensive? Yes. Do I understand the value of lego sets? No. (you kinda only put it together once which I don't quite understand). Purchased and no looking back!

I'm hoping to put together a sort of pregnancy announcement for our parents from her to do virtually (sister lives v far away). The thinking is we’d announce it with a grandparent kit of things they can have at their home to reduce what my sister has to fly with.
How would you do it with minimal waste? I know I can thrift a few baby things secondhand - what would you prioritize? Anything you would NOT get secondhand??

It almost suggests he deserves this. The breeder is who deserves karma (derogatory). I saw this on threads and it hurt my heart. So many of us on this subreddit get flack for arguing against fluffies, Merle’s, big rope etc and this is why. This boy is struggling and doesn’t deserve the hand he was dealt. The breeder used him only as a money-maker. This is his first time feeling love.
If you’ve judged us for the comments and called us snobs consider the THOUSANDS of abandoned frenchies discarded on the streets or dropped into shelters for rescues to try their best to save.

Hi all - I am a staunch environmentalist and am here with my family. I've visited previously but am usually in a position to drive all of my recycling materials back home. I am here this time without a car and won't be able to do that this time.
I know the city does not collect recycling (abhorrent considering the natural landscapes you'd think ought to have better protection and care) but wanted to ask if there are any private services that I might be able to call and pick up my recyclable waste? I'm primarily interested in aluminum which is infinitely recyclable!
Please be kind and do not take this opportunity to argue with me about the efficacy or realities of recycling. Thank you for any help you all can provide!
