Detector wanted to borrow or rent 1st full week in July in MA

I’m sorry if this isn’t allowed and please remove if it isn’t. but I’m looking for a metal detector to borrow or rent from someone first week in July in Norfolk County in mass.

I’m looking to get into the sport, but haven’t pulled the trigger on a detector. I have vacation coming up and would love to do some detecting.

I’m not looking for your main rig. I’m just looking for an old one that might get me hooked on the sport. It would be a mostly be normal detecting with a bit of beach detecting. Send me a message or reply if you think you can help me out.

Quickly burned out bms?

So like 2 months ago I got water in my battery compartment and my bms got fried. I contacted Tony and I bought a new XRV bms from him and it got sent out. I put it in no problem while badgering the board as well. It’s been dry as a bone for the last 2 months. Fast forward to yesterday I went to charge it and nothing. The charging light stayed green. I wasn’t out of juice so I managed to get home and take a look at my board. I opened it up and I had some strange wear on the BMs almost like over voltage heating. I know warranties are not really a thing here but is this something that went wrong on my end or a faulty Bms. pictures

I have found silver in a few months today broke that streak!!!!
