On a flight standby - app doesn't know I'm here

I flew stand by on an earlier flight. There was a weird mix up where the GA actually gave me someone else's boarding pass and I didn't notice. I used the paper pass. Other passenger used the digital pass and of course we realized it when we both were trying to sit in the same seat. Meanwhile my digital pass still said standby. It wasn't a full flight so they just told me to sit down in a nearby empty seat. Now the app has my original boarding pass showing. Do I need to do anything or will it sort out on its own?

EDIT: FA says they know. 🤷

Cringy first moves

Context - Bumble. My opening line was, "Hello! Nice to meet you."

His response - "Right back at you cutie.. Yum yum."

Instant ick and unmatch. 🤮

People who put their bags in the front bins and then sit in the back... Why?

Title says it all. I boarded Group 2, row 7. A TON of people preboarded. Then the 1K and Group 1. I was like 3rd in line for Group 2 and the bins in economy plus were full through row 10 even though the seats were not. If everyone has one carryon and one personal item, why put your bags anywhere but above your own seat? First class bins still had space open so it wasn't them. Make it make sense.

Question for men in their 60s

Went on a date tonight with a man (64) - I'm 56. We're both professionals. My kids are out of the home and his one child is leaving for college in a few weeks. We had the oddest date. We were introduced by a mutual acquaintance - I think the compatibility came down to "both old and members of the Art Museum" lol. Based on the texting leading up to the date, I had a sense we did not have a lot in common. But, in the spirit of not being impulsive about who a person is, I thought it was worth a shot. Honestly, he just seemed to ignore my input. He didn't ask anything about me while texting and seemed annoyed when he changed the venue last minute and I said the new place wouldn't work (food allergies). Fast forward to the part of our conversation when we talked about relationships. He said that younger women seemed to expect he would support them and older women thought he was too needy. I found this honesty interesting - he clearly has money to purchase services but seems to envision that his partner would want to provide them and he would prefer that future. I'd love to hear some perspectives about what the ideal future looks like for you guys. Obviously, individual results will vary, but are there general themes?
