Antarean Rite of the Eastern Sun, done by a Chaplain during the Grusi Campaign [C. 1917]
About the Ritual:
In the Astranist Belief, a Priest is required to do a ritual twice a day, at dawn, and dusk.
Major Rites are done at Odd Dates, with a full offering for the Gods consisting of Bread, Wine, Soil (Could be Sand or Dirt), and Oil.
Minor Rites are done at Even Dates, with an offering of Soil and Oil.
At first, the Priest will do the opening prayer, and when the sun rises high enough, the Priest will offer the Soil, which is mixed with the Oil before throwing it at the air and sprinkling it on the ground, which is also offered to the souls in Heaven and Hell. The Offering continues with the priest doing the same thing with bread crumbs, and after that wine.
At the end of the rite, the Priest will rinse the Constellation Shrine (the rectangular tablet at the altar) with the Soil and then with water, before eating the leftover bread and drinking the leftover wine.
