i've heard a lot of people say that our 'middle order is weak' or so
i think that its not about our middle order being weak (apart from jitesh this year), its our approach to batting which we gotta fix
against gt, we shouldve looked to maintain a healthy 9-9.5 rr until like the 15th over with max only 2-3 wickets falling and minimum slogging, then go full gung-ho in the last 5 to get a total of 210 ideally
we shouldnt look to make 240+ every match, we need to assess the bowling/batting strength of the opponent and play accordingly
because im sure that a total of 205 wouldve been enough against gt last match, our bowling was actually really good
in short, we gotta fix our approach towards batting. sometimes huge totals gotta be the aim, sometimes respectable totals gotta be the aim. you cannot hit 240 every match, right
