Used 2021 ibanez rg7421 for 350$ with rusted pickups and knobs, buy or pass?

Hello!

I just went into a store to try a used ibanez rg7421 from 2021, they are selling it at 350€. The guitar itself sounds great and is well adjusted, the main issues of my concern that I've found are rust in the pickups and in the knobs (which work fine but give just a bit of resistance when turning them). Should I worry about the rust? Is this something that's gonna get worse down the line? Is it a huge red flag?

There's also some minor signs of wear in the wood, and a bit of dust in the bridge and around the pickups that should be easily wiped off.

It's my first 7-string and I'm really excited to get one, that's why I had my eyes put on this very guitar until I saw the rust. Internet says rust is no biggie, what are your thoughts

Thanks!

Hello, metal-focused player here.

For the past weeks I've learned about all the modes, and how they work. I took time to specially understand and extract the best out of phrygian dominant because it's very prominent in the metal I listen to. Locrian and superlocrian are fairly ocurrent in this genre, but I barely see anyone talk extensively about these modes online, and how to extract the best of it. I constantly read about how difficult these are to use and how tense they are, but that's precisely why I want to delve into it. You can just make such evil melodies with it.

So, how do I get the most out of these two modes for metal playing, what intervals or notes should I be targetting when improvising? I'm mostly interested on the single-note-melody side of the locrian equation, not so much the chords.

Thanks! :D
