Hey guys.. trying to improve myself.. this is my 3rd oil painting. I know its not perfect.. what should I keep improving on. And how much time and practice it took you to be perfect in oil painting?

What do you do with the canvas / painting once its finished. Do you sell it or just keep it collecting in a storage?

Asking this because I have been painting on acrylic paint paper and have never tried painting on a canvas. I live in a small space and not sure what am I going to do with canvases after painting is finished ( as they will take too much space). Right now, I just keep collecting my art on paper in a box / sketchbook.
I know i am doing something wrong... please suggest what I need to work on.
Hey guys .... currently , I am painting on a strathmore acrylic paper.. which is 400 GSM.. I tried to gesso the paper before painting, everything, paper starts to bend out of shape ( i.e. doesn't stay flat) .. can you suggest any way to avoid it?
I have never painted on a canvas yet so I am assuming this doesn't happen to a canvas ?
Saw this very bright thing last night in Brampton.. around 10 pm.. did anyone else notice this?
