Bird house/hollow advice pls

Hello all! After a bit of advice:

Background
I am lucky enough to live in a leafy suburb of Brisbane, on a private estate with plenty of unbuilt common property. Unfortunately, a lot of this is overgrown with invasive plants, but I do my best to keep it away from my property and have added a tonne of native plants to my backyard. Now I frequently get natives eating the flowers and visiting.

Through my own eyes and my birdnet-go installation, the area gets torresian crows, pied butcher birds, noisy firebirds, pied currawongs, magpies, sulphur-crested cockatoos, tonnes of striated pardalotes, kookaburras, brown honeyeaters, Willie wagtails. The smaller species entering my backyard to drink or eat the flowers.

The question
I have a 4m-high sandstone retaining wall along the back of a 15m native garden. On top of that retaining wall I’m growing a hedge of Lilly pilly too.

Is there any sort of bird house or hollow that’s cheap/affordable/DIY that would suit hanging off the top of this stepped wall and be suitable for the honeyeaters, wagtails, etc?

Your Patch - Aussie lawn care app is finally live for Android

Hi all, off the back of my iOS Lawn Care app (which got a decent reception and has been downloaded 200+ times in the first week), I have been waiting for all the Google play stuff to clear (including the testers it needed for 14 days (thanks to my testers!)

It's finally live! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yourpatch.app

This is actually ahead on features than the iOS version now, as apple want you to be registered for GST just to make a lousy cent off some gated content. As always, most of the features here are free. There's no stored emails or sign up, and any analytics is anonymised.

Android testers needed - Free Aussie lawn care app

Hi all, off the back of my iOS Lawn Care app (which got a decent reception and has been downloaded 200+ times in about a week), I have branched an android version.

I have never launched an android app and thought it would actually be easier than the ridiculous crap iOS app launch looks like.

Unfortunately, Google Play requires 12 testers opted into my closed test with access for 14 days before I can publish it.

So I'm asking, can I please have 12 android users DM me to test out the free app and hit me up with any bugs they come across? You don't need to actually do anything with the app, just give me your Google play account email, click a link, install it, and leave it on your phone for 2 weeks. You'll need an Android phone.

The app itself will be free apart from the full scheduled reno guide and some small features. No account creation. No email address recorded. I make no money (unless you upgrade). It's called Your Patch. Australian lawn care guide, built because every piece of lawn advice online assumes you're in England or the US and has no idea what buffalo grass is.

Free Aussie lawn care app

I built an app specific to Aussies and it's live on the App Store.

It's called Your Patch. Australian lawn care guide, built because every piece of lawn advice online assumes you're in England or the US and has no idea what buffalo grass is.

No account creation. No email address recorded. I make no money (unless you upgrade).
You pick your grass type and your climate zone, and it gives you a month-by-month task schedule for your actual lawn. Mowing, fertilising, watering, treating. Soil temperature gated so the tasks only show up when conditions are actually right.

Free. iPhone only for now.

Would love it if you downloaded it, had a poke around, and left a review if you reckon it's worth it. Early reviews make a real difference.
