Thoughts on this show? I hated it as a kid because I thought I was more deserving of having my own show
As I grew up and was less of a brat I did end up appreciating the show and liking it.
[Funny Trope] Anthropomorphic character gets dehumanized
Family Guy - Brian Griffin is a dog who can talk and acts as a functioning member of society in the show. In one episode his owner, Peter destroys Cleveland's house by lighting a firework. Brian profusely apologizes to Cleveland for failing to stop him to which Cleveland basically tells him it's not his fault because he's just a dog and wouldn't expect him to stop Peter from acting up like a human could.
Family Guy - In another episode, Cleveland has to watch Brian and he treats him like an actual dog by holding him on a leash to go to the bathroom on his front lawn despite Brian telling him he is capable of going to the bathroom on his own.
[Loved trope] A recurring gag in a cartoon's introduction
Fairly Odd Parents - At the end of the introduction when Vicky says "Yeah right!" Cosmo & Wanda use their magic to change her head into another character or item that relates to the episode.
The Proud Family - Near the end of the shows opening introduction, Oscar Proud closes the door on his daughter Penny's friends, followed by closing the door on a character that is part of the specific episode each time.
I just want someone to hire me already
In Star Fox (2026) Peppy is a 41 year old pilot who works under the founder of his employer's 18 year old son despite being more experienced and skilled than him. He is clearly a victim of nepotism.
Does it count as successfully completing a mission if you activate cheats during gameplay?
I know if you activate cheats in the cheats menu it only allows you to use them on the difficulty you already beat the level on. If you go to a difficulty setting that you did not beat and activate the cheats during gameplay, will it count as completing it?
Thermostat won't go lower than 77 degrees
Hello all! I am currently experiencing an issue with my central air unit where it will not go lower than 77 degrees.
I cleaned and washed the filter and also confirmed that there is no debris in the outside unit itself or any plants or weeds around it to deter performance. Any idea what could be the issue?
