My gaming space and collection
Thought I’d share the whole space rather than just the desk. A mix of gaming, tech and collectibles I’ve picked up over the years. Still adding to it whenever something catches my eye.
Ignore the temporary bedding 😂

I posted this room here a while ago and got a lot of feedback. A lot of it was genuinely helpful.
Over the last few months, I changed the layout, simplified the setup, and tried to make everything feel more intentional. I removed the TV at the end of the bed, cleaned up the desk, and gave the room a bit more breathing space.
It's still a work in progress because I don't think a setup is ever truly finished, but I'm really happy with where it's at now.
Always tweaking something, but it's in a good place right now.
Thought I'd leave my thoughts on the Hisense 100U7QTUK since I couldn't find loads of UK reviews before buying it.
Overall, I'd give it a solid 9/10.
Going from a 65" LG G4 OLED (which I still have) to a 100" screen is just ridiculous in the best way possible. Games feel incredible on it. My PS5 Pro looks ridiculously sharp, and once I'd spent some time tweaking the settings, I was genuinely impressed.
I also like how easy it is to switch between my devices. I've got my PS5 Pro, Apple TV and Fire Stick all connected, and it's been really straightforward to use. The built-in speakers are better than I expected too. Obviously a soundbar is still better, but they're more than good enough to get started.
I did have a couple of moments where I thought the TV was being very weird. My picture settings kept changing depending on the game I launched. Turns out it saves different settings for SDR, HDR and Game Mode, so once I realised that and turned FreeSync off, everything behaved properly.
The only thing I'd say is live football isn't quite as impressive as gaming or movies. I'd probably give sports around an 8/10. At first I thought it was the TV, but after comparing it with my PS5 Pro and PC, I realised it's just the broadcast quality. On a 100" screen you notice compression and noise way more than you do on a 65" TV. However, I believe a majority might already know this information, aha.
If you're looking for a 100" TV and don't want to spend OLED money, I think this thing is brilliant. Just don't judge it straight out of the box. Spend a bit of time getting the settings right because it makes a huge difference.
