What color is Black Sapphire actually?

Hello guys! I’m looking to buy the Arc’teryx Beta Jacket in Black Sapphire but I’m wondering what color it actually looks like in person. In some pictures it looks quite blue but I’m not 100% sure.
I’m specifically looking for a navy blue jacket and I really like the Beta Jacket. Would Black Sapphire be a good choice for that or is it more of a black/blue color? Thanks!

Looking for a destination in December

Hello all!

We’re looking for a destination for one week at the end of December where we’ll definitely find snow. We’d also like to rent a car and explore on our own.

We’re more adventurous travelers than city travelers so we’re not looking for a destination with major city attractions. Our main focus is nature (mountains preferably, not very important necessarily), beautiful winter scenery, scenic drives and possibly some hiking if weather allow, although hiking isn’t a requirement. We’d also prefer a destination where we can stay in one place for the week or at most two places.

We’ll be flying from BRU or CDG and we’d like to reach the destination by plane in max12 hours or less. Because of the current situation in the Middle East it’s quite hard to find something that looks nice because Kyrgyzstan was the original idea.

The budget is around €2,000 for two people for flights but we’re a bit flexible for an amazing destination.

Some destinations we’re considering include Iceland or Romania, but we’re here for other suggestions.

Countries we’ve already visited:
Vietnam, China, Canada, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Greenland, Faroe Islands, Germany, Ireland, UK (including Scotland), Italy, Latvia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Slovenia

We’re especially interested in less touristy destinations with reliable snow & nature.

Family Discount - Skyss

Hello everyone! We’ll soon be visiting Bergen and we’ll be relying on public transport during our vacation. We were wondering if the Skyss Family Discount, where a child aged 6-18 can travel for free with an adult, also applies to 24-hour and 7-day period tickets.

A trip to Bergen, Norway

Hi everyone!

We’ll be visiting Norway in about a month and are looking for some hiking trails (forest/mountains) near Bergen, specifically around Espeland/Haukeland.

We’ll be relying entirely on public transport, so we’re looking for hikes that are accessible by bus or train. A (short) walk from the stop to the start is absolutely fine.

We’re mainly interested in medium-difficulty hikes (4-5h max, 12km max). More challenging routes are fine if they’re not too steep or technically difficult.

Ideally, we’d like the journey to the start to take no more than 1.5 hours by public transport, although we’d happily travel up to 2 hours if it’s for a truly spectacular hike.

I’ll attach a screenshot showing where we’ll be staying.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations. We really appreciate it!

International GT Open 2026 Spa-Francorchamps

We’ll be going to the International GT Open in Spa-Francorchamps this weekend and we’re wondering if anyone here got any tips for us. We were for example wondering if it’s free access to the paddock and pitlane and whether or not we can park at parking 1 & 2. Any tips or answers to our questions are welcome!

EDIT: Any tips for photography spots around the circuit? It’s my first time photographing motorsports and i want some nice spots to train my skills :)
