Zandvoort DTM Sunday

Hi,

i'm finally going to see a DTM Race on Sunday in Zandvoort. I'm planning to buy a standing-room ticket.

On the map, however, the marked area looks quite far away from the track. I know that at Formula 1, you can access all the dunes. Is that also the case with the DTM Ticket?

And, if needed, are you allowed to bring a camping chair?

Thanks in advance!

Ferrari/AF Corse and Oreca out in Monza with three 296-based test mules

Today AF Corse and Oreca started a, probably, two days test session. Four cars took the track:

- a single standard 296Challenge

- two different 296Challenge-based test mules, that will probably develop into the 296ChallengeEvo

- a 296GT3-based car, equipped with a new, much different, tail panel, featuring an "old style" wing support. Testing the 296GT3 Modificata or a "Premium" Le Mans GT3 body kit?

Steering wheel with crown symbol

I got this steering wheel at an auction and I can't find anything about it like what the brand it. All that is on it is the crown on the front and made in Italy on the back. No numbers anywhere.

Reminder for the “How can I watch the 24h Nurburgring” posts

So as we all recover from the past two plus days of amazing racing at the Nurburgring let’s take a moment to think of next year. The amount of posts related to how to watch or Racer+ sucks in the US is fairly common but now’s the time to action on them if you haven’t already. Most of the VPNs have 24+ month pricing and will avoid this altogether and set you up for success next season.

Surfshark, Nord and a slew of others out there (even browser ones for free) will give you access to so much great racing - 24h Nurburgring, DTM, IMSA, etc. DTM at Zandvoort is coming up this weekend and will give you a chance to see many of the GT3 teams and drivers y’all just saw at the 24h race in a phenomenal series at a great track. They broadcast most (if not all) of the practice and qualifying sessions on their YouTube channel and the coverage is great and is in English. Get familiar with the flow now so you can enjoy next year’s 24h race without stressing or purchasing a different service that will make it even more frustrating.

If anyone has any questions comment and we can help you out!
