No response from customer service in 4 days...ready to just cancel.

SoI have an issue with my August order. Normally, the Glam Bot is able to pull up the order and the items in your Ipsy subscription. From there, you can tell it which things you're having issues with, and it will order replacements.

For some reason, the Glam Bot did not have anything listed under my subscription except the name of the subscription and then a bunch of empty spaces where the names of the products should have been, so it asked me to just list the products I was having issues with. So I did that. I listed the one item that was missing and the other item that had a broken sprayer. It then immediately opened up a ticket, and I have had no response in 4 days.

I don't know what to do because I've heard that if you try to open another ticket, it slows things down more. However, I went ahead and talked to Glam about it again, hoping that maybe it would remember my order this time. I just did it a few minutes ago, and of course, it did not remember it. Then I told it not to worry about it, and that I would just wait. It then seemed to open another new ticket, and I don't know why, though, because I told it that I hadn't gotten a response..

This is absolutely absurd because these items go quickly, and by the time I get a response—if I even get a response, which I have not received multiple times before since this whole AI Glam Bot nightmare started—to think I thought the original Glam Bot was bad..

I just feel like we don't actually have real customer service anymore, and if they ever make it right, which I'm starting to doubt completely, at best they'll tell me that I can have three whole dollars to use towards my next add-ons. In this economy, that's like throwing somebody 25 cents 20 years ago. It's not commensurate with the stress and time it takes to deal with this. The least they could do is send us a gift for the inconvenience, like they used to, especially when they mess up really badly, like in my case, for 4 days (it will be 5 days in 4 hours) at that length of time. I'm nearly positive the items will be out of stock, and I'll be forced to receive items that are supposedly "comparable" to what I had, and they never are comparable.

I really enjoy receiving Ipsy, so it makes me sad that this is even happening and that it happens more and more frequently. If we had customer service that actually worked, then I think a lot of people would have fewer complaints.

I don't have Facebook, so I can't use Facebook Messenger. I guess I could try to create a Facebook Messenger account. Can you do that without a Facebook account? I could try to send a message to Ipsy there, but it's not really any faster. Is that my only other option? I heard someone say they tried to send them a message on Instagram, but I can only imagine that they would just tell the person to send an email.

Sorry for the rant, I'm just desperate, and maybe a representative will see this and help me. By the way, representative, if by chance you do see this, my ticket number is #27127149.

Accidentally sent CS request to hello@ipsy.com... what will happen?

So I'm not sure why, but when I was sending my customer service request, I guess I had two Ipsy addresses saved in my address book on my Gmail. One of them was hello@ipsy.com, and I'm wondering who the heck that goes to. Do I need to go ahead and resend it to the regular support@ipsy.com email?

If I pause July extra will I still get Aug ultimate since I have a subscription? The Glam box answer just made it more confusing

If I pause for July can I still get the ultimate in august? The botķ M

So, I was wondering if I skipped July's extra because I'm not loving the spoilers, if I'm still going to get the ultimate in August because I'm already an Ultimate member. I emailed support, and they said that since the rule is that you have to have an active membership to get an ultimate, that even though I would be paused for July, it would still be an active subscription. I believe that would mean that I could get the ultimate without having to be charged for both the ultimate and the September extra. This is what the response was from the bot:

"Totally get it—if the July IPSY Extra spoilers aren’t calling your name, skipping that month makes perfect sense.

Here’s the key thing: IPSY Ultimate is a quarterly upgrade that requires an active base membership (IPSY Original or IPSY Extra) to keep your quarterly box eligibility. If you skip July, your IPSY Extra is paused for that month, so I can’t promise you’ll still be eligible for IPSY Ultimate in August while your base is on hold.

Thanks,

IPSY Glam Bot"

So it definitely seems like it's not totally sure, but it didn't rip all the hope out from me either. I was wondering if you guys had suggestions on what I could write back to try to get a clearer answer, even though my first email was fairly clear.

Finally, I was wondering if anyone had any first-hand experience of a similar situation where you skipped too with it being the month before ultimate and when it automatically unpaused, did you get your ultimate normally or did you have to pay for both the ultimate and the next month's extra at the same time?

I was up all night with a sick kiddo, so I'm really hoping this makes sense. If it doesn't, hopefully, you can read between the lines enough to make it make sense, LOL. Thank you in advance.

Is Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream worth it? I tried the Bobbi Brown but....

So over the years, I've seen a lot of posts about people mentioning how much they love the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, but it is very pricey, so I wanted to see if there were other options before I dropped that kind of cash. I saw several commenters over the years mention that the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base was close enough, even though it's not cheap, it's much cheaper than the Magic Cream. I tried it, and it's nice, but it's not anything that I couldn't just replace with a cream that I already have, except for the primer portion of it.

I'm feeling like I might want to take the dive, but I'm just curious, from your experience, money aside, is it worth it? As far as results go, and also if you've found something that is basically the same besides what was mentioned above, I'd love to hear that as well. But if you think I should go for it, let me know because I'm like a few days from doing it, LOL.

Can't find any original spoilers except the 5 they have on their blog. Same with extra. Has anyone seen anymore spoilers ?

Well, choice day is very close upon us, and I've been trying to find spoilers for the last week, but the only spoilers for Originals that I could find are the five that they spoil on the app every time. I haven't found anything else. Have you guys seen anything, and if so, would you mind sharing what you saw in the comments? It feels like a mystery! The same thing with the extra—I saw the five on the app and then I think two more whenever I search the words "spoiler" on the sub, but that's it. It feels like either I just missed them or they haven't given very many spoilers this time.
