how to take THC for nausea

THC can really prevent and treat nausea, but how to take it? THC by mouth is difficult to keep down but there are a couple of alternative routes. If you don't mind vaping then 1-2 puffs on a THC vape works quickly and may help a lot. Another way is to hold some liquid THC tincture in your mouth (which tastes terrible...). This will allow the THC to absorb through the mucosa, the "skin" of your mouth. Mixing THC liquid into something that you CAN tolerate would also work. Even a little bit may help a lot, so experiment. Just keep trying different routes and keep notes in a diary, you will figure this out.

THC oral and inhaled for sleep

Getting to sleep and staying asleep are the goals. The trick is to use inhaled and oral THC together.

You get to sleep by vaping 1-2 puffs of THC at bedtime which kicks in right away. Also at bedtime you take 5-10 mg of THC by mouth which will start kicking in around an hour, about the time that your inhaled THC is tailing off. This oral THC will continue working for 2-4 hours more, usually enough to keep you asleep. .

So take advantage of the different effect times of oral and inhaled THC for better sleep!

use enough CBD

Using cannabis but need a boost? Try adding CBD.Add some CBD to your THC. CBD with THC has two benefits. First, CBD can lessen side effects from THC, so CBD can allow you to take more THC without side effects. In addition, CBD may act on its own to help your issues. Maybe 25 to 50 mg of CBD by mouth or 2-3 puffs on a CBD vape right along with your THC. Give the CBD a good 6-8 weeks to fully kick in. Keep a diary.

This works over time, so be patient and keep at it.

your diary is your guide

You have your own personalised dosing of THC and CBD that works for you alone. Your key to figuring this out is a simple diary with date-time, what you took, how you felt . After a few weeks your own pattern will become clear. It is amazing how much a simple notebook with a few columns really helps.

dosing intervals

Stacking doses too quickly can cause problems. + It is better to give inhaled cannabis around 1 hour to work, and oral cannabis 2 or so hours to work. It takes THC a while to get absorbed and cross the blood brain barrier to have its effect. YMMV but some general guidelines. +Avoiding side effects is the name of the game.

use enough CBD

CBD is the hidden hero. + Try some CBD along with your THC. The rationale is that CBD can lessen side effects from THC, so CBD can allow you to take more THC without side effects. In addition, CBD may act independently to help your issues. Maybe 25 to 50 mg of CBD by mouth or 2-3 puffs on a CBD vape right along with your THC. Give the CBD a good 6-8 weeks to fully kick in. Keep a diary.

+Just keep adjusting and noting, you will get there.
