gender swapping only one person in a queer ship just makes the person who drew/wrote it sound like "but theres barely any straight representation!"
it just seems like a weird cop out to only make ONE character genderbent. not everything needs a straight version.
edit to clarify: i also am not a fan of when straight ships are made queer.
also, **im not calling anyone who does this queerphobic.** just that it in itself is inherently queerphobic due to constant systemic and historical erasure of queer people.
