We’re now 9 days away and it feels surreal coming out in that time and so nervous but excited! Btw does anyone wonder what’s gonna happen in the new movie?

I’m more leaning onto post ep 9 Caine

If I joined the circus before the events of ep 9, I wouldn’t mind going out on adventures, suggesting him other adventures, and also giving him a compliment

If I joined after the events of ep 9, I would go on adventures with him, show him my drawings, hang out with him a lot, invite him to a sleepover to watch movies/play games, and I would even give him lots of hugs when he’s feeling down and cuddle him when he’s tired

Whenever I look for a TADC reaction channel that reacts to the whole series I mostly find slander, and I wonder if there are TADC reaction channels who genuinely like Caine that I wanna look for

I’ve now come to a conclusion that I mostly hate Jax because the worst thing he did imo was when he argued with Ribbit at the snowy adventure. I’m glad he abstracted, but the way narrative handled the episode was kinda poor.

First thing he did in ep 9 was yell at everyone and pushed Kinger because of his one mistake which was deleting Caine by accident and yet Jax got all pissy about it, secondly he made fun of Zooble and called Ragatha “mommy”, and she yelled at Jax to shut up which is a good thing she did but Jax didn’t stop for a few moments until he walked away and abstracted.

Another thing that I find irritating and messed up was his mindscape realm where his fantasies are there if one of the cast members abstracted. Then he pushed his friends away the moment he opened up to Ribbit about his backstory. I’m not gonna get too much into detail about that bc I hate thinking about it, but the most obvious one was the amount of screen time Jax took :/

Episodes 1, 2, and 4 is where he didn’t take that much screen time, and ep 3 is where he got the least amount of screen time. Episodes 5 - 7 is where he suddenly got more screen time and idk why. Episode 8 is where we get a breathe air bc it’s a Caine and Kinger centered episode imo. And ep 9 is where that happened, and Caine got his screen on the second half of episode 9.

Personally, I mostly like the episode, but it would’ve been better if it added 30 more minutes of the episode giving more time to develop the rest of the cast and their relationships, the C&A lore, the coworkers, and so on bc it was a let down but at least we know our human counterparts now. Anyways, Jax would be rotting in hell rn :)

I hope this is the right place to talk about this certain pattern im noticing in some parts of the fandom where a good/morally grey character gets compared to a literal jerk in the fandom.

One example is Caine and Jax, but this also applies to Ragatha and sometimes Zooble as well, and Caine and Jax are kinda the opposite of each other in terms of their writing and personality.

I’m REALLY starting to hate Jax because ppl who hate him RIGHTFULLY point out how extreme his actions are and how it affects the other characters in the show, and he deserves the karma such as the beatings from Pomni in ep 6 and getting his skin ripped out in his ep 8 torture sequence, and there is no reason to excuse his actions at all. It’s also super weird for ppl to call an asshole character who is “just an innocent little baby who needs a bit of understanding and love🥺” like ok?!

I might be the only who notices that Caine gets more hate than Jax. I absolutely LOVE Caine a lot because he’s my TOP #1 favorite (alongside Kinger) and I relate to him most of the time in terms of his personality. Seeing more Caine hate than Jax hate on the main subs made me kinda sad bc Caine had no idea what he was doing wrong to the humans because of the way he was programmed. I don’t like how some of “these ppl” only look at the negative aspects of Caine to absolutely slander him without looking deeper into his character.

Its odd how the Jax stans will sympathize with Jax despite his actions and “backstory”, while they also turn around and mischaracterize Ragatha for being “fake” (and sometimes Caine)

I understand that Caine is an AI who doesn’t understand humans, I don’t justify his bad actions towards the humans either, and Zooble is kinda right about Caine, but I still think he’s a nuanced character who’s underrated imo, and I don’t think Caine should be put on the same level as Jax for his actions towards the cast. While I don’t like when ppl compare characters who are similar or different to each other, I just wanted to speak out on my opinion about this.

It also bothers me that Ragatha is more hated than Jax as well, she wants everyone to happy and to get along, but beats herself when things go wrong, plus she also had trauma as well, and Ragatha is my #2 favorite (same with Pomni, Zooble, and gangle IMO). Ragatha deserves better than that depraved purple ANIMAL.

This is one of the reasons why I mostly avoid interacting with the main subs because I’ll stumble upon posts of ppl glazing Jax while simultaneously hating other interesting characters like Caine, Ragatha, and some other characters which is baffling.

Also, I have not seen finale yet! Pls dont spoil me. Im just waiting for the YouTube release so that I’ll fully address my opinion on the episode when it comes out.
