WARNING: Safety Hazard & Data Privacy Evasion at Bristol Farms West Hollywood (Store #9039)

Hey LA community, especially those who shop at the Bristol Farms flagship on Beverly Blvd in West Hollywood. I am an independent contractor, and I am issuing a formal warning regarding a major safety and data protection hazard at this location.
As you can see from my attached receipt, on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at exactly 8:03 AM, I completed a routine $132.55 purchase at Register 4. Because I neutrally replied "OK" and refused to submit to an unsolicited verbal lecture from a grocery shelf-stocker named Ralph on the sales floor, he escalated the situation into a personal vendetta. He abandoned his post, stalked me from Aisle 1 down to Register 4, and pursued me out into the parking lot.
While I was loading my car, I turned around to find him amubshing my vehicle, aggressively threatening me, and recording my face and private car data on his UNMANAGED PERSONAL CELL PHONE DEVICE. He explicitly declared his intent to ruin my professional livelihood, shouting that he would report this to his supervisors so I would be banned, and directly threatened: "I will report this to your company so you lose your job."
I contacted corporate risk management, demanding a routine, standard compliance verification that this unauthorized video taken on a rogue employee’s personal phone had been deleted under HR supervision to prevent digital leaks or public social media defamation.
Yesterday, Vice President Lynn Melillo sent me a formal corporate refusal. Instead of forcing the employee to purge the data from his private camera roll and cloud backups, Bristol Farms chose to completely SWAP DEFINITIONS. They intentionally hid behind building camera codes, claimed consumers have "no expectation of privacy in a commercial parking lot," and explicitly stated the following in writing:
"Mr. Le, We do wish to close this matter out as well but needed to address with you that although we had a discussion with our employee we did not verify your claim that severe misconduct was committed by our employee. We are unable to destroy the camera footage captured for the investigation of your claim. Please understand that we can and do record video in store areas accessible to the general public, including the sales floor and parking lot, which is allowable in California as these are not considered private areas or where there is a reasonable expectation of privacy. We do this for the protection of our business and legal interests, customers, employees and others visiting the store in accordance with applicable law, and we retain any such video in accordance with our retention policy and applicable law."
Bristol Farms West Hollywood is officially confirming they are actively harboring and archiving unauthorized video assets harvested by a hostile employee on a personal mobile device on company time.
If you value your privacy, your biometric data, and your safety while loading your car in West Hollywood, stop feeding this store your money. I am enforcing a lifetime boycott. Stay safe out there.
(Note to Mods: I hold the official enterprise email header from @goodfoodholdings.com for verification if required).
