I'm going to a two-day orientation for the college I'm attending in the fall and apparently they make everyone stay the night on-campus so that they "get used to dorm life". I wouldn't have an issue with this if it weren't for two things. First, I will not be staying in the dorms this school year as I live half an hour away from campus. Secondly, one of my high school friends goes there and I visited him recently. He showed me what the mattress looks like underneath his mattress topper and it looked disgusting. What is the best way to get out of staying overnight?
