I hesitate between these two and don't have much (not any in fact) experience with ereaders.

I'm looking for something much lighter than an Ipad, better battery life, not linked to AMZ, many formats, and mainly to read books, also some note taking.

Interested in reading comics here and there but not so much.

However I wonder whether a black and white ereaders (namely the Boox Go 10"3 gen 2) is still ok for books with pictures such a below (or for the occasional comic book):

Above picture/map would be clearly readable on the Boox 10"3 or not ?

It does not manage colors but map them to grey levels right ?

J'en ai entendu parlé il y a 2 3 ans il me semble (je sais plus comment), et je trouve que ça reste relativement méconnu chez les Européens ou autres comme chez les Africains, en dehors des cercles "académiques", pour quelles raisons à votre avis ?

Some reviews say almost no difference between non lumi and lumi with light off, some say quite a bit.

Below picture shows quite a difference:

So how is the difference ? Is the non lumi version more readable in outdoor sunny conditions ?

Some alternative I would have missed ? Use case : reading books and A4 pdfs, must be usable outdoor.
