Asthma coming back as adult

I had asthma, mild compared to other's here, when I was kid and slowly grew out of it as I moved into a teenager. Lately noticing shortness of breath, some chest tightness, feels like asthma symptoms. I know it's been a bad allergy season as I live in New England and I saw an allergist recently and on scale 10 allergic to Dust Mites. They started me on flonase and xyzal.

I'm 34 now, can Asthma lay dormant for that long and then come back up out of nowhere? Thinking I may need to check in with my PCP and get inhaler or a test. Note: I was diagnosed with mild GERD last year around this time after an endoscopy. It never really came with shortness of breath, asthma like symptoms more heartburn.

Is this LPR?

Never had any type of GI issue in my life then last May started to get lump in throat, felt like something was stuck in my throat, a little heartburn nothing abnormal. Finally saw a GI and they did an endoscopy and found mild gastritis and Grade B esophagitis (GERD). Started on 40 mg of Omeprazole and felt much better within a month or two.

Fast forward to this May, mind you no flare ups since last August. Woke up randomly with lump in throat again, felt like post nasal drip/clearing throat, had breakfast and almost dry heaved it up. Hard to swallow, a little shortness of breath. The next week my stomach was fighting a virus, had diarrhea 2-3 times a day for 3 days straight. Stomach has recovered fortunately but the throat sensation has not, been on BRAT diet and low acid for the last two weeks. Does this sound like LPR?

Seasonal GERD Flare Ups

Curious if this is the case for anyone else. Had my first GERD flare in my life last May-June, had endoscopy and started on PPI felt better for months.

May rolls around this year and I'm in flare again even with the daily PPIs. Does anyone else's GERD feel like seasonal flare ups?
