Wellp, it seems like "stfu" is justifiable perma-ban reason...

It's seems over for me. EA allows "movement gods" to talk shit in VC because they don't moderate it, but bans you for saying "stfu" to toxicity. Funny that I lost my Battlefield (1, V, 2042, 6) & Battlefront accounts due to this. Thanks EA ^^

Even more ironic that just a few days ago I bought new peripherals specifically for playing Apex and a 100-pack bundle.

Looking for advice between the G7 Pro 8k and Steam 2.0

I’d like to ask for advice from people who already own one of the controllers I’m considering buying (G7 Pro 8k / Steam 2.0).

Budget: Up to $130 USD; Country: Ukraine (but I also have connections to buy/ship from the US); Platform: PC

I use a controller mostly to play shooters (Apex, CoD, Fortnite, etc.), as well as various indie and single-player games (survival horror, RPGs, Souls-like games, arcade racers). Right now I have a G7 HE, which is long overdue for an upgrade, and in this price range, these two are the best options.

With the Steam controller, I’m concerned about the polling rate and the resulting input lag, as well as the shape, since I’m used to playing shooters with a claw grip. The G7 Pro 8k, on the other hand, has the form factor I’m used to and is generally designed for shooters, but it lacks all the software and innovations (like touchpads) found in the Steam Controller.

For Steam Controller owners: Have you compared the feel of 250Hz with 1000Hz controllers? How does it feel in your hands, and have you tried playing claw? What advice can you give?

For G7 Pro 8k owners: How smooth does it feel compared to other controllers? What about mechanical stick looseness (play)? I ask because my G7 HE has developed nearly 7% play on the right stick after 2 years. I’ve also heard rumors that the Aimlabs and Champions editions have slightly different internals based on online latency tests. Is there any truth to that? Any other comments?

Thanks in advance!
