I replaced the generator and it was puffing like this after a minute or two and lasted about a minute. I think the valve is bad too. You have to turn it all the way on to light it and when you shut it off it takes a while to go out completely.
I don’t think this has ever been filled or used
Really runs quiet compared to a new one. I do have to turn the knob almost all the way on to light so I don’t think I’m getting full power. What do I do to fix this?
Going home to clean them up and make any necessary repairs.
Taking the front panels off with a canoe on top is scary. Super windy on the way home and if it moves a little you want to reach up and grab it like you would have chance if it was actually falling off.
2 days, 4 cinder blocks, $50 in nails, some old tin roof I had and some storm damaged pines. The logs are all 8’ so about 45sq ft. inside. I have more than enough hardwood to fill it full which should last probably 3 winters.
