Parts

Question for my Canadian friends here: where do you guys get parts from? Which is your preferred as far a price and arrival time?

I'm looking at buying a drain pump and a few water inlet valves once I get part numbers and if I can find the part number for the 50 pounder as it is different than factory. I believe the old one was phased out and replaced with the non repairable type

Wash and fold accounts

Just checking to see what others do for late payments on wash and fold accounts. We have one restaurant that is perpetually a month behind or more. When we delivered the June bill, they finally paid the May bill. They've also been like this for the previous owner and at one point was two months behind for her.

There's other accounts that are also past due, and I'm wondering if it would be unreasonable to implement a 10% late fee. A due date without a penalty seems more like a recommendation and since we give 30 days to pay anyways,I was thinking of putting a notice on the invoices at the end of July saying something along the lines that all invoices are subject to a 10% late fee starting with invoices dated July 31st.

Maybe even adding a note that we reserve the right to suspend services if two bills are late until the account is returned to good standing

Problem with do not disturb

Hey everyone. I'm looking for some advice regarding my do not disturb. I have several scheduled times for it to run, through the do not disturb settings, basically any time I'm at work with the exception of my breaks. They don't turn on reliably and when they do, they sometimes turn off prematurely. If I go to manually turn it on, it'll stay on briefly, no more than a second, before turning off again more often than not.

I've tried turning them off/on, I've tried turning them off, restarting my phone, then turning them on. I've even tried deleting them and adding them, that didn't work so I restarted my phone after deleting them and before creating new ones. It's not working. I even attempted to create routines to do it even though I gave up hope on those last year or the year before, whenever it was that my s22u got an os update around spring time.

When that issue occurred, the schedules times wouldn't work either until I deleted the system cache in the recovery menu. After my s22u got the os update this past winter, I had to do it again. Obviously that tried can't be attempted since android no longer has that in the recovery menu.

I did notice any time I would click on DND and it would pop up asking how long to leave it on, there would always be an alarm for 1:27am the next day, today I figured out that the best I can find is my routine for turning on my WiFi and mobile data at 1:27am, and I've confirmed it with the routine for DND (still labelled active even though it wasn't on) was set to end at 11:30pm and that was the next "alarm"

Earlier today I noticed the Now bar said that. It was activated by Watch7 Controller after I had clicked it several times so it would stay on, but through my, not my watch so I deleted that, regretted it immediately as it turns out my watch ultra uses it and had to be reset. Didn't fix anything

I'm out of ideas and it's honestly pissing me off pretty significantly.

Receptacle tester and breakers

I want to preface this by saying I'm not anywhere close to electrician, I've replaced receptacles, switches, and even crimped a few wires on a motorcycle, that's about it, so this may be a really stupid question: am I able to use a receptacle tester with the test button on it to trip a breaker, or is that STRICTLY for gfci outlets?

I had an issue at the workplace and had to replace a belt, now I have realized that the breaker panel label is complete garbage and figured this little tool that already exists in the building would be better than spending $80+ on a device to trace a receptacle back to the panel if its safe to do so.

Washer troubles

Hey folks, I'm new to this as my gf just bought herself a laundromat and we have two washers that are messing up. The first one is overfilling when there's laundry in it to the point of leaking, but when empty to test it does not. I'm thinking maybe a pressure switch or the hose to it? I was told that it was leaking from the door the first time, then the empty test cycle was fine, then another customer used it and it was leaking from the door again and the soap dispenser. They couldn't find the breaker for this one apparently so they unplugged it and called it done.

The other one just kept filling and filling. She tried to find the breaker for that one and couldn't, so a gentleman turned the taps off for her while she held the door closed.

Both happened on different days but while I was at work so I can only go off what she said. So far for the second one I've been able to look at it and, with my very limited knowledge of a multimeter and a YouTube video, I tested the inlet valves and they all tested around 1000ohms, which is apparently in the good range. I checked the pressure switch and I'm confident it's the problem since all three terminals had continuity. I compared it to another machine that was the same and got the same results until I realized that one was out of order due to electrical issues so I can't count on it and it was already past time to leave

I apparently also need to go through and label some breakers.

Any help is appreciated, I'm in over my head a bit but I'm enjoying learning about most of this.
