Finished my first mushroom guy!
My wife bought the pattern for me for my birthday, and it was so fun to make. Definitely going to be making more.

I finally managed to make it to the edge of the system! I wanted to start a new save multiple times to redo things with the knowledge I learned from before but decided to stick through with it. I landed on every planet empty handed, except for Aquilo. The second picture is the front of my platform that took me to the edge. It was fueled by a fusion reactor. The final image is my first space platform that didn't get ripped apart by asteroids within 5 seconds of flying.
I tried to learn how circuit networks worked but it just hurt my head. I also never touched quality. Or modules in general, actually, for way too long. Big mistake. Only started to use them on Gleba.
This is my first time playing, except for very briefly years ago where I gave up before reaching oil. My base on Nauvis was a real mess. It worked to get me into space but i basically neglected it for a long time until I landed on Gleba and got stuck there whilr biters ate half my base. Then I "claimed" a small area around my base. The only blueprint I used in this run, aside from belt balancers, was a solar panel block so I could just spam out a bunch of power generation. I still ended up being mainly powered by nuclear anyways lol.
Vulcanus was fun, I love the look of foundries and they're very useful. You can make so much so easily here, I used this planet to supply my expansions on other planets. It's also how I managed to rebuild Nauvis, lol.
I really liked Fulgora, the scrap mechanic is fun but I kind of just cheesed it with logistic robots. Which I regret, and on my next save I'll do a proper setup here.
Gleba is probably my favorite planet. Its a very different logistical challenge and I quite liked figuring it out and making something that could be both self sufficient and produce a good amount of science.
Aquilo was a very fun planet. Seeing it go from an icy ball of nothing to an icy ball that can theoretically make like 1 science/min was quite fun. My inter planet infrastructure could barely handle supplying it, and my platform could barely reach this planet so it was a struggle.
Also just as an extra, I thought personal fission reactors required fuel so I never upgraded from solar panels in my suit until i was almost done with Aquilo. I absolutely loved playing this game. I already want to start over and do it, but better.
