Over the weekend I came back to this jam for the historical Lil Wayne verse at the end but then I heard Plies' verse which was the first one. WOW that shit was as descriptive as it was destructive very slept on by the 12-13 year old me. Just drove through the area today having lived in south florida for over 20 years I want to point out what I noticed and have questions to ask.
This was on a Saturday that I drove through the place it seemed like many restaurants didn't have too much business or were slow except for one Mexican restaurant by a train track in Belle glade heading south, there was quite a few Mexican/hispanic restaurants and grocery stores.
I thought it'd be mostly retired ppl (these folks tend to have the nice homes and such in Pahokee from what I saw or newer vehicles) but most or 90% of the people I saw out and about were black or hispanic. I saw at least 3 laundry mats in pahokee alone (more then McDonalds) and aside from a hispanic grocery stores in belle glad I saw a Bravo (which had all the windows shuttered even though they were open) and a Winn dixie. I also noticed you have quite the number of A/C mechanics (this laundromats and restaurants/foodtruck seemed to be popular)
I checked out lake okeechobee as well it was bare, saw one old man just strutting along but nothing else but Gators and this was at what seemed to be the community center but it was dead which was saddening because it looks like everything at this bay was renovated within the last 15 years .
It does seem like they've got plenty of parks, recs such and I will say it seems like belle glade is the most "advanced" of the 3 cities

Hey i live in boca and was raised here in south florida Ive passed through your city a handful of times but for the first time yesterday had the chance to actually get on the beach and broadwalk. I must say, you guys have the best beachfront by far in south florida and a great downtown area as well that i have yet to see be too crowded anytime ive been.

Been working industry a few years now. Place I've been at over a year now is really starting to mess with me. Coworker quit end of last summer and they asked me to cover temporarily as treasury support, this was 6+ months ago and no I wasn't fairly compensated during annual raise but oh well. My biggest issue is my boss is starting to try to blur the lines between me being support and actual treasury analyst.
Everything mentioned above has put me in a position where I'm more stressed out than Ive ever been at a job, even on the days I wfh (have worked late hours & weekends because of this). How do I get my boss stop all the bs and hire someone and relieve my stress. I drop subtle hints the other day that the team needs a breather since we just finished annual audit (which if I didn't lead was the 2nd in command) and she made a comment about her still having a public accounting mindset something to that note and then carried on to have me start a treasury project with a colleague 😞.
My intentions when starting to work here was to plant my feet and really master my knowledge in accounting not work in treasury, any suggestions?
