Do you guys think an adaptation of Dracula but in modern times would work? I think it'd be interesting. Instead of journals and diaries, it'd be found footage type of stuff. I'm trying to think if there'll be elements that's gonna be hard to translate for a modern setting

I bought a book of TPOTO and holyyy, I am having a hard time reading it. Which is weirding me out because I read Dracula just fine and that was released 13 years before TPOTO. Also the fact that I am so confused with the structure of the Opera. I am so unfamiliar, I don't know what a ballet foyer is, what a box was, I feel like I don't have the full context and it's making me confused and it's frustrating and annoying me :// I really wanna enjoy this book. I legit though a box was a literal box and not a spot in the opera.

What happened to your body hair? I have this kind of body and I wanna know the effects of estrogen on body hair. I don't really like having this much hair on my body, specially on the torso. Does it go away? Or does it still grow and you still need to regularly shave it (if you do shave).

For some reason there's songs in my playlists that I didn't add. It's pissing me off because I curate my playlist. For example, I have an emo/poppunk/alt playlist and then for some reason Katy Perry gets in there. I also have a playlist for songs that I like in general and then there's songs that I haven't even heard of before or songs that I don't like. And I know I didn't add them in there.

I add songs from radios so I'm guessing these songs are from another song's radio and for some reason YTM is adding the whole radio if not a chunk of songs from the radio nstead of the one I just intended to add.

If Dracula got an actual faithful adaptation, and I mean FAITHFUL, no added plot points, just giving what the book already offers, who would you guys want to play the characters?
I personally would like to see Nicholas Hoult play Jonathan Harker but I think that's lowkey a copout since he already played Jonathan's counterpart in Nosferatu (2024).
I do have a fancast for Mina and I think she will nail it if this miracle of an adaptation happens—Florence Pugh. When I was reading Dracula, for some reason the movie in my head had picked Florence Pugh as Mina and honestly when I thought about it, she could give one hell of a Mina. Considering her range and how great of an actress she is.
What do you guys think? Who would guys like to see to play the characters? Especially the man himself—Dracula.
Hey, chat! So I'm planning to watch Alien '79 and Aliens '86 and I saw that there is a Theatrical and Director's cut for both.
I've researched a little and decided I'm gonna watch the Theatrical cut of Alien '79 since people have recommended it for first time watchers but the problem is I couldn't get a clear answer for Aliens '86. Some say the Director's cut better but also some also say the Theatrical cut is better for first time watchers.
Any Alien fans here that could help me? Thanks!
When this manga dropped, I read the Ch1 and never touched it again. Thought it was nothing new. Took a peek at the manga for the joke. I picked it up again because of the anime announcement and suddenly my twitter is full of Kagurabachi stuff (mainly, memes) so I had to see what the hype is.
Holy shit, this deadass deserves the attention it's been getting since day 1. I started reading today and currently on Ch27. HOLY SHIT. The more I read, the cooler it gets. The Rakuzaichi arc is going crazy.
Lowkey regretting not actually following the series since its release but hey, atleast I get to read 100+ chapters without having to wait every week. Can't wait to catch up. Can't wait for the anime too. The art is crazy cool too. Like it's got such simplistic look in it that when the art goes full, it always delivers. I fucking love this manga now.
