Are you having similar problems with your Kobra X?

I had issues with color contamination when printing on my Kobra X multicolor models using Anycubic Slicer Next and the mobile app.
I haven’t solved the mobile app yet, but in Anycubic Slicer Next I found the cause of the problem.

I also made a video about it, which you can find on my YouTube channel Zemistr3D.
Alternatively, you can find it on YouTube by searching for “AnycubicSlicerNext ruining my prints”.
I’m not posting a direct link because I’ve already been criticized several times for sharing links and supposedly forcing people to watch them.

Long story short: The program has predefined fixed purge amounts when switching from certain colors to others. For colors that don’t match its predefined list, it uses a calculated purge amount based on a formula. The calculated purge uses more material than the predefined values. The predefined purge amount is insufficient for many colors.

What is the Prusa HT Hotend Upgrade good for?

In the description of this upgrade, Prusa notes that it provides you with a 400°C heating element, which allows you to print with high-temperature materials such as PEKK-CF, PPS-CF, PPSU, and others.

https://www.prusa3d.com/product/ht-hotend-upgrade-for-core-one-and-core-one-l/

There’s just one catch, though... well... not just one...

While the nozzle can melt these materials, neither the heated bed nor the chamber can reach the temperature these materials require.

On top of that, when the chamber temperature exceeds 60°C, the printer will try to cool the chamber down quickly, which obviously isn’t good for the print...

So what’s the point of this upgrade?
