Approaching someone with a tiny toy camera with switches and knobs on the side is more fun than i thought and people are less intimidated when they see the first shot. Though some seem VERY confused.

The circuit-bent camera is one of those that started as a <$4 Aliexpress kids cam.

A few minutes of Mark Hosler's performance at Haikuavl tonight

Mark Hosler, band member of Negativland performed an outdoor solo tonight at Haikuavl, an event space in Asheville which i recorded several minutes on my circuit-bent camera.

Unfortunately the sound from this little toy cam does not do justice to the quad speaker system not the sonic depth which he played, but i hope you get the idea. It was a moving performance and the video is straight out of the camera, no post-processing at all.

Didn't love having to go the hospital Emergency ward, but loved taking photos on campus.

A good friend in Asheville does interpretive dance/movement and i videoed it with my newly circuit-bent camera. Cheap Chinese camera for kids runs less than $10 on Ali-express and if you can solder tiny wires, then it's a great experimental thing to try. Lots of fun!

Every manufacturer seems to use different connections, but on this one I just connected pins 7 to 24, 6 to 4, 6 to 8, 6 to 9 and 5 to 11 for these pretty trippy results.
