A potential opportunity has arisen for me to live and work in France for a year. I have a wife and 2 kids, who will be 7 and 4 years old and do not speak French beyond "bonjour" and "merci". We will not be able to afford private international school. Has anyone else moved in these circumstances? How did it work with school, nursery etc? How did your kids cope?
