I have six hens and 4 laying boxes in a 2x2 arrangement. They almost exclusively use the bottom box that is further from the roosting bars. Occasionally there will be an egg in the box above that. Is there something wrong with the other two boxes? Any advice? (To be clear there is a door that closes on the outside)

I have six hens. I noticed this condition with one of then when we got them a month or two ago and now several of them have it. Bald spots at the base of their tails. When I look closely I don’t see any visible bugs or anything and I haven’t noticed them pecking at each other.. maybe something going on inside the coop during the night?
