Need two computer speaker setups, less than $100, <70$ even better. 2.1 or 2?

I need to get two computer speaker setups for two Mac minis in different rooms. I should spend less than $100, <70$ even better. I usually get ~ $60 2.1 speakers with sub. But I notice that at the <$100 price point, the 2.1 setups are rated pretty low on amazon, and there is an edifier 980t 2.0 bookshelf set that look better and are higher rated.

Does anyone have any advice on what is best to get in my price range, and the tradeoffs of these 2.0s (or others) vs. 2.1?

file search doesn't surface recently used files, and doesn't remember recently chosen files?

I'd hope for an advance in file searching in root from the beta. But first it doesn't surface the most recently used files first. Second, even if I use it to narrow things down and use Raycast to open a file -- it doesn't remember that this is a file I've recently opened, and surface that one first. Please do advise if there is something I'm missing, but for file search purposes this seems pretty poor so far. Is there something I'm missing?

rc500: what to output into? Not guitar amp, if (e.g.) drums are included?

like the title says: rc500: what to output into? Not guitar amp, if (e.g.) drums are included? "studio monitors" (I'm not sure what that is, but know it is a thing). What?

replacing rancilio rocky (which we liked! we drink dark roasts) [$500]

Long story, but we can get reimbursed for the cost of a new rancilio rocky, if we replace our old rocky with a grinder of some kind. Unpopular, I know, but we were fine with the Rocky -- though we have never tried something nicer. It was an upgrade from a bad built in Breville grinder.

We do drink (also unpopular, I know) dark roasts. I understand that might favor conical over flat. (Also, only milk drinks, from a cortado to a latte.)

We haven't historically done the thing of weighing the beans and grinding just one dose. We might like to try, as that would allow instant switching for a decaf in the afternoon. But I'm not sure what the other benefits are supposed to be.

All that said, when we last upgraded from the Breville BBE setup, I thought it was a huge advance in drink quality. I don't know what it was -- better grinder, could have been. But although we haven't traditionally seen the need to upgrade grinders further, it is possible we just don't know what we are missing.

What would you recommend? Should I have conical? Would I have to push my budget or exceed it to get a better conical? Should I just go for a Turn something flat burr? Tia!

AFOUR by Apæron: looks amazing; what we know

AFOUR by Apæron: looks amazing! knob-per, but with led ringed endless encoders (like the Nord 3). 4 part multitimbral. looks like a powerful sequencer. Lots of great and helpful visuals on the screen. They say 1500-2000 Eu (not sure what that means here in US).

My fantasy had been the Nina, but this is competing for my attention and I really look forward to release. What do you think?
