Went in to watch a movie Monday and it was normal. Went again yesterday and it was barricaded off. Wonder if this means we’re getting imax

Fuck Israel
“We can’t afford to be neutral on a moving train” *points at Daron*
This clip gave me a good laugh. Daron flipping off the crowd during this line and Serj pointing to Daron during it 😂
Serj confirmed SOAD was planning on playing in Yerevan in July but they have since postponed it. Date: TBA
I’ve been to sick new world the 3 times it went on, and this time was by far my favorite.
First off, the weather was just perfect. Sun stayed behind the clouds basically all day, and the breeze was kicking in every now and then and wasn’t bad at all. The last 2 years they did it (2023&2024) was so hot and I ended up burned had year 1 and a bit in year 2.
I really enjoyed the extra things to do like the 25 year toxicity exhibit thing and even the skate ramp was cool. Food options were decent. Water stations were great and bonus for the electrolit packets they were giving out!
The sound always seems to be an issue at times. For the most part things were good for the bands I saw but there were minor issues. I get it, wind and the rain at the end can negatively impact stuff like that.
One thing about this festival I wish was different is PLEASE have more than 1 damn exit. There’s no reason to funnel 50k+ people through one exit. Such a horrible design choice.
Overall, I’d do it again and hope it happens again next year. Stayed at the Sahara and definitely recommend it. Super close and easy to walk to and back from the venue. Even easier if they’d open those damn gates across from Sahara to let people in or out. Stop with the 1 entrance and exit bullshit
Edit: totally forgot to mention how easy it was to get in. Not sure how it was for people that got there later in the day but I literally walked through every gate with not a single person in front of me at 10:30. I expected to get there and see a line but was so shocked. Waited over an hour last year to get in. Well done for letting people into the courtyard that’s before all the entrances so that they can get people checked in before actually opening gates to the stages.
