I’m going to be in Townsville for a day next week and plan to do a bit of shopping while I’m in the city. What thrift stores would you guys recommend? I also have clothes I plan to drop off at an op shop too. And what are the best shopping centers in town? Mainly on the lookout for young woman’s clothes and jewelry.

Hello! I will be honest this type of stuff confuses me greatly, so I apologize in advance if this is basic knowledge.
I graduated uni in 2023 and have always been on the SAVE plan and have never paid back anything. Up until the beginning of this year I was working low wage jobs that made my income driven payments to be $0. It says I'm in forbearance until November of 2028. (not 100% what that even means) Now I understand I have 90 days to select a new plan now that SAVE has shut down, but how do I do that? Am I a returning IDR borrowing that just needs to change my IDR plan? Or do I need to apply for an IDR plan? I submitted an IDR plan request in January of 2024 but am unsure what that even did as I've always been on the SAVE plan.
Now an additional factor, that I'm unsure how exactly this effects this, is that if I'm applying for a new income based plan, how does that work if I'm not in the US? I am currently outside of the states living and working so I'm not making any income in USD. It's a comparable wage to what I was making in the states. But I'm unsure how or if this factor would cause me to switch to a specific plan or what.

Just got home from my first shift where I got my uniform and started, everything was plastic wrapped except the pants. Got home and noticed how bad they smell and hair in them (not my own) and a few stains. And I’m very uncomfortable. Now I understand reusing old uniforms but I was not aware of this and am just not comfortable wearing these pants. I have my second shift tomorrow where I will see what they can do but how do I go about it? Is it rude of me to ask for new pants? Should I message my manager tonight before tomorrow’s shift? I’m going to be working 20 hours a week and don’t have a great laundry system already so I’d rather have pants that didn’t come already stinky and intertwined with someone’s hair..
