Is anyone nuts enough to recut 12 monkeys? Or do you think it would be too janky and hard to follow cut into chronological order? Just about to start a rewatch and had that on my mind

So my theory is building on from this theory about the Giant Spider and The Lake of Tears. It really itched something in my brain and got me thinking, so thank you u/angooyy! Basically The Giant Spider has the souls of the dead trapped at The Lake of Tears, and the Spider is guarding the Lake under/connected to the caves.
My follow on theory is that The Giant Spider created a (metaphorical) web that traps everyone in the town. Once you are in the web/town, you can't leave. The Spider feeds on the despair and lost hope of the people living there. It sucks the hope out of people. It puts voices in people's heads and messes with them. It tells the monsters what to do. The Spider eventually kills everyone and their despairing souls are forever trapped in the web for the Spider to consume. When it gets hungry again, it starts baiting more people into the web for the cycle to continue.
I think that in the beginning the Spider wanted to trap all of the original villagers in The Lake. It tricked them with the promise of immortality. The original villagers hoped for immortality through sacrificing their children. The Spider intended for them to live forever but as monsters so that it could feed on them forever until the end of time. BUT it didn't work because OG Jade and Tabitha did not go through with the deal and therefore the ritual was not completed. Jade and Tabitha keep getting reincarnated and brought back to the town as they are still trapped in the web. They can't get away.
The Spider wants to complete the ritual by making Jade and Tabitha finish the sacrifice of children. But instead, if Jade and Tabitha can free the trapped souls from The Lake of Tears then the children and all the dead can finally be at peace. The web will be broken and the remaining living people will be able to leave. The cycle continues because neither the Spider or Jade/Tabby has won yet.
Maaybe MIY is the Spider in human form? Sophia seemed very excited about the idea of the town falling into chaos. Like a feeding frenzy.
