It was our home…

It was our home…

…We were in love.

I love how the house of cedar and pine was portrayed as this eerie haunted (by the witness) house in the middle of the red forest for season one and most of two and then it ended up actually being a symbol of love where Cassie and James finally let each other in and they created a home.

Does the witness use their home to communicate with the various characters >!as a misdirection because that is where Athan was conceived? To hold up the illusion that Athan is the witness?!<

Resurrection is such a roller coaster of an episode! (S2 E11)

And already the best part of my rewatch!

-The Jennifer Egg/Chicken Choose-your-own-adventure Scene 🥺
-Katarina thanking James for believing in her 😭
-The James/Katarina hug 🥲
-Ramse knowing exactly what Cassie was going to do without her saying anything
-Katarina knowing what Cassie was choosing without hee saying anything
-Katarina telling Hannah to save herself
-Cassie finding James at the Emerson in 1957 because she doesn’t want to be afraid anymore ❤️

The witness..

Doesn’t it make more sense from a narrative standpoint that Athan is the witness? Won’t the story hit harder if Athan still becomes the witness despite season 3?

Also the explanation given for Olivia having always been the witness is just not very compelling to me; I’m not sold on the idea that Olivia is meant to be the witness and she becomes the witness only because of the creation of Athan. If she is meant to be the witness, why would Athan even be involved in her story? And all those setups about how special Athan is because he was born out of time and isn’t supposed to have existed are just for nothing after it’s revealed that Athan has never been the witness.

And Olivia isn’t even primary and somehow just gains abilities(I forgot how, I am rewatching and haven’t finished the series) so that she can be the witness. She makes for a good villain but being the big boss just doesn’t seem like her.

Cassie switching from Cole to james

It's pretty seamless the way Cassie starts to address Cole by his first name, as soon as they become a thing, every time they are alone or it's a meaningful moment, she always calls him James.

I'm pretty sure 4x05 she only addresses him as James, as well as most of 4x10 and 4x11 except some scenes.

Casserole all the way, one of my favorites TV couple ever

Does anybody have the piano notes for the theme from the 1995 movie?

one of the best movies of all time and I’m trying to learn it on piano but can’t find it anywhere

Why does Cole seem to lose every 1v1 later on?

Once I started to keep track, past a certain episode in season 1, he just starts to lose nearly every 1v1. I mean, I don’t expect him to be James Bond but getting bested in every fair fight is just embarrassing. Isn’t it suggested earlier in season 1 that he was enhanced in some way?

Cassie's "attitude" in season 2

I always found it funny that Cassie later in the season is like "Cole don't blame yourself for me becoming ruthless and being sent in the future, I'm like this because of me" while in the earlier eps she kept throwing it out at him, saying that "who's fault I turned out this way" and stuff like that, although it's quite obvious she didn't mean any of it and was just angry at him because in her eyes he betrayed her, so I still found it weird I was like " girl u kept saying it to him, of course he's gonna blame himself, he would blame himself regardless sure, but u're not helping lol"

And although I was frustrated by her attitude, I couldn't get mad at her, because it was obvious that it was a façade to not get hurt again, like we see her façade is broken by the end of ep 2 briefly when he gives her their photo and saying he's ready for the mission, and then the moment he leaves, she crumbles and got emotional

Watch it in chronological order?

So, you know how there's like crazy fans of shows or movies who recut stuff into chronological order? Like fans recut Westworld or Lost into chronological order.

Is anyone nuts enough to recut 12 monkeys? Or do you think it would be too janky and hard to follow cut into chronological order? Just about to start a rewatch and had that on my mind

I don’t know why but

Every time during my rewatch when Ramse refers to Jones or Railly as “hey Lady” I scream “it’s DOCTOR” at my television 😩

1x12 Paradox humor…

I’m doing my first full rewatch (I’ve gone back to watch selected episodes for clarification) and I just got to 1x12x, and I can’t stop laughing.

Matthew Cole’s mother-in-law and daughter-in-law just walked into his garage. This guy has no chance!

Very long shot

There’s a youtuber called Friendly Space Ninja. Maybe some of you know him. Anyway, I’ve been commenting on a video for 150 days straight pestering about watching this show. Today he uploaded a video, so if you could check it out and find my comment and give a like, I think it could help convince him to give the show a run, which in turn means more exposure to this criminally underrated series. It’s a long shot, but I guess it wouldn’t hurt trying. And with the upcoming rewatch on July 6th, maybe he’ll jump with us. Anyways, thanks guys and see you soon
