🚫 New Rule: No Touching the Poo

To help protect this subreddit, we're adding a strict No Touching the Poo rule.

This means do not contact, message, comment on, report, or otherwise interact with the subjects discussed here. Please also don't announce that you've reported them or encourage others to do so. Reddit can view that as brigading, which can put the entire subreddit at risk.

We want to keep this community focused on commentary and discussion..not participation.

Thank you all for helping keep things within Reddit's rules and for continuing to snark safely. We appreciate everyone who's helping make sure this community sticks around.

Reddit is apparently responsible for a decade of poor choices and toxic behaviors

I keep saying Rebecca has reached rock bottom, and she keeps showing up with a shovel.

Using your estranged sister's childhood trauma as a prop during a Facebook Live for sympathy is already disgusting. But then having your daughter message that same sister and declare she's lost her chance at a relationship with the family because she looked at Reddit?

Please.

You haven't had a relationship with her since 2019.

You can't revoke access to a club membership that expired seven years ago.

And spare me the "Reddit is ruining our lives" routine.

This subreddit has existed since November.

Not 2019.

Not 2018.

Not ten years ago.

Reddit didn't create the endless cycles of public meltdowns, depression spirals, anxiety crises, family fallouts, burned bridges, online begging, victim narratives, and dramatic declarations that the world is out to get you.

That saga was already in season 14 before Reddit aired its first episode. The funniest part is that Reddit has now apparently joined the long list of villains. First it was the mystery woman. Then it was the haters. Then it was trolls. Now it's Reddit. At some point people have to stop asking why Reddit exists and start asking why so many family members, former friends, former supporters, and complete strangers keep arriving at the same conclusions.

The level of therapy required to unpack this much manipulation, emotional blackmail, victimhood, and complete lack of self-awareness would qualify as a public works project.

But sure. Reddit is the problem.
