Hi all.

On my cbr954 i noticed that 1 of the 2 exhaust valves per cylinder, and that that halve of the port is very white. On cylinder 3 it is very noticeable (picture 1-3) but all have it in varying degrees (4-6).

The exhaust valve clearances are all in spec, and the engine ran fine. Do i need to remove the head or is this okay to continue to run. Thanks.

Hi all.

On one of the cylinders of this engine (2002 Honda CBR954) I noticed that half of the exhaust port is very white, also 1 of the 2 valves. The other cylinders all look normal, like the left side of this port. Engine was running fine.

Does this indicate a possible issue? Or will this go away/is fine.
