Help with Limelight trees
Have had these limelight hydrangea trees for three years now and they are doing great but have had some heavy rain lately and they just never bounce back up after getting heavy.
I want to also prune the lower branches so the stem or base of the tree grows taller and stronger, they are kind of short.
Any advice on when/how/where to prune? Zone 7a
Thanks!
Coconut Bay - St. Lucia with Kids
Just booked Coconut Bay (the Splash side) for two adults and two kids (ages 7/9). Was very excited because it seemed to check all of the boxes we were looking for (tropical blue water, decent enough food, good pool, kids activities) but am now getting a little concerned about the beach. It's one of the most important things for us, and worrying that I should have found something on the Caribbean side (although I don't think an all-inclusive in this price range exists). I'm reading they shuttle people to another beach - has anyone been and know which beach it is??
We will be going in mid-November, and I just booked and purchased insurance so I can cancel if I need to. We booked the concierge Jr. ocean view suite.
Has anyone been or can give any insight on if we should be too worried, or we should be OK. Any insight on room quality, food quality, beaches? Any other place I should consider?
Thanks
Not taking off?
This guy has been in the ground for a couple years now. Year two was probably the largest yield, but wasn’t a ton of berries. Getting full sun on the south side of a house in zone 7a. Why hasn’t it grown any bigger after all these years? Looking like another year of a handful of berries.
Not sure what kind it is, it’s been a while since I planted it. Thanks!
White Coneflower
Can anyone tell me what kind of white coneflower this is? I assume it’s a cultivar/nativar but I’m not sure what kind it is. Is there a way to identify?
Tire Rec
Don’t know if this is the right sub for this but I need a set of new tires on my 2015 Honda Accord. It’s an old car but it’s in great shape 124,000 miles and I’m not ready to get rid of it yet. I’ve only ever bought the cheapest crummy new tires from cheap crummy tire places, and I’m willing to spend a little bit more to get a good quality, but also know not to put high-end tires on an old Honda. Does anybody have any recommendations on a solid set of tire tires? Thanks.
