B2 account suspended despite immediate abuse removals and resolved billing

Hi everyone,

We operate a public user-generated image hosting service, similar in concept to Imgur.

Our Backblaze B2 service was recently suspended, and we are currently receiving:

403 account_trouble

Because anyone can upload images to our platform, occasionally users may upload content that violates our rules or a provider's policies. Whenever Backblaze, Cloudflare, or a user reports problematic content to us, we remove it as quickly as possible and cooperate with the relevant abuse team.

We previously received a serious abuse notification from Backblaze regarding a user-uploaded file. We immediately deleted the file from B2, purged the CDN/cache, and informed Backblaze. Their Trust & Safety team thanked us for the swift action.

We also have our own moderation and abuse-reporting systems and are willing to add any additional safeguards Backblaze requires.

There was also a recent billing issue caused by a failed payment attempt, but all outstanding payments have since been paid and the billing issue was resolved. The suspension email we received specifically refers to a Terms of Service issue rather than billing.

The difficult part is that the latest suspension notice does not tell us which file, URL, or specific issue triggered the suspension. Without that information, it is very difficult for us to investigate the responsible upload, remove anything else involved, block the uploader, and prevent the same problem from happening again.

We are not asking Backblaze to ignore prohibited content. Quite the opposite: we want to understand the issue, fix it, strengthen our moderation, and continue operating in full compliance.

We have already contacted the Compliance/Abuse team and are ready to provide any information they need.

If any Backblaze employee sees this, we would really appreciate help getting the case reviewed or at least learning what additional remediation is required.

And if anyone here operates a UGC/image-hosting service and has gone through a similar B2 Compliance review, I would be grateful to hear about your experience.

Thank you.

IDrive e2 account disabled for over a week — any experience obtaining a human review?

I use a paid IDrive e2 account for a legitimate, public-facing production service. The existing account has been unavailable for more than a week, affecting normal operations and users.

I immediately completed every specific remediation requested by support. Since then, I have only been told that the matter remains under Compliance/Legal and back-end review, with no timeline or named case owner.

I am not asking anyone to bypass safety or compliance controls, and I am not seeking access to any restricted material. My request to IDrive is a controlled reactivation of the existing account for lawful, unaffected operations under any safeguards they require.

Has anyone had an account-level IDrive e2 review or suspension resolved? I would appreciate experiences with:

- How long did it take to receive a substantive human response?

- Were you able to obtain a named case owner or a concrete next step?

- Was the existing account ultimately reactivated, possibly with restrictions or safeguards?

I have an open support case and am seeking a legitimate resolution. Please do not post private employee contact details; I am mainly looking for similar experiences and practical information.
