I've never owned a gaming Laptop or PC. Did I get a good deal? Any advice?
I just bought this open-box excellent condition laptop from Best Buy for $2,356 usd. I'm a total newb and I was honestly pretty unsure on what to get. $2500 was my budget. I will be connecting this laptop to a 65" LG G5 oled TV when gaming. I also bought a IETS GT500 V2 5000 rpm cooling pad to go with it.
After the Playstation news of killing physical discs I decided I am not buying a ps6. I already own the ps5 pro and I'd rather have my digital only library on steam.
Any advice for a newbie on setup or tips and tricks. I've seen I should immediately switch to g-helper. Thanks for any input!

Is this a common thing?
Framerate drops to nothing and freezes. I have to hard close the game each time. Its happen twice in the last hour. Playing on ps5 pro.
