Tammy’s smile before she meets Amy ahead of the wedding …

It was supposed to be the big make or break moment ahead of all the siblings rivalry and nastiness. When Tammy comes into the room fully she looks deathly worried about how it would go, but is smiling moments beforehand. Do you think this was just for the camera and they had made up days (or even weeks) earlier, but kept it going for the season storyline?

Do we think Michael watches the new seasons?

I wonder if he watches all the new seasons just to be nosey or if he even just hate watches lol.

Also, does anyone have any updates on what he’s up to recently? I haven’t heard anything and am just nosey myself.

Slatons should buy those house back and turn it into an Airbnb

People could live like saltons for a high fee, maybe a meet and greet and a bbq night together. The Rats and Coackroaches are bonus.

Darlene looks like Robyn from Sister Wives doing all this angry frowning

She said after this scene "I'm a fighter I raised 5 kids on my own" no lady you didn't your mom did

Amy

I’m very sorry for Amy, I can’t see her as mean as you say (I’m only on season 5 ep3). I see a poor mother in pain. I’m really sad looking at these moments. Really really really sad. They should have stopped the show there, where weight is no longer so much a subject.. :(

Besides, I love how Tammy’s face is, she looks so much like today’s Tammy!!

I’m sorry everyone but this is the second time I have posted and found a bird that reminds me of Tammy 🤷‍♀️😬

How is this their house?

This is from S2 ep9 when Amy’s telling Tammy she needs to quarantine before her upcoming C-section with Gage.

I don’t believe the whole school bullied Tammy. She probably didn’t have many friends because of her attitude. I can believe there were some bullies here and there, but not everyone like Tammy makes it sound.

Season 9?

Do we know yet if there will be a season 9 of the show?

I know season 8 just ended but it’s been a while and I’m wondering if they already started shooting for next season or if they decided not to renew the show.

They still have enough material to work with if they do decide to bring it back for season 9.

Tammy barely registers as Human

Tammy is an absolute train wreck of a “human being”. Her arrogance over losing the weight is unbelievable. She was an equally, albeit completely different crappy person, when she relied on everyone to do every single thing including wiping her ass for her. But damn did she really become an awful person when all the sudden she didn’t NEED them anymore. Now she is all time insufferable. Truly disgusting . Can’t say I’ve ever seen anyone act the way she does. Most children act with more class and decorum. I usually do everything I can possibly do to be as tolerant and understanding with people as I can but I just can’t with this one.

Have they explained why they don't like Brian / why does Brian suddenly make weird facial expressions?

Have they explained these things in social media or the show? Does Brian have some kind of disorder or is it just a habit? Is his odd behavior the reason the other siblings don't like him? I've watched almost all of the episodes of the show. There's many times they give Brian a weird look or say they try to bond with him or get to know him or whatever, but they seem to be very cautious around him for some reason. Has he done something to deserve this kind of treatment?

Caleb annoys me

This is just me complaining.
The first couple times I watched thousand pound sisters I watched it all the way through, including the parts with Caleb in them. But after that I started skipping anything with him in it. Something about him just deeply irritates me. His relationship with Tammy was weird to me. The love bombing, how quickly they moved, the fact that they got together when they both should’ve been focusing on themselves. I can’t. This is shallow, but his voice also just grates on my nerves. And the way he smirks.

What does Tammy eat?

During her dramatic weight loss journey, we've seen the weight quickly melt off of her, yet there hasn't been bidg changes in her emotional maturity. Yes, the surgery makes her unable to eat as much as before, but as we've seen from other family members, surgery doesn't guarantee continuous weight loss. I would think for her continued weight loss that there would need to be major lifestyle changes. We don't see her exercising nor what she is eating on the daily. Have I missed something?

Tammy is delusional

Who remembers Tammy saying Amanda " Is NO longer the Pretty sister" after her surgery. WTF. Does she not look in the mirror? Oh wait, it shattered when she got near it. Why does anyone even talk to her?

Who kept Little Bit’s grave?

Hi I'm in season 4 épisode 4 but I know Amy and Michael have separated. They seemed to love the dog. Who kept him ? They had buried him in their garden and said « since we will stay here forever she will always stay near us » thanks

Who remembers the "hey it's Kevin guy" 🤮

He really thought he was all that and thought he was Amy's knight and shining armour

What do bariatric surgeons think of this show?

I fully recognize the focus of this show is on the dynamics and personalities of this family. That's where the entertainment value is. I don't think anyone watches it for an in depth depiction of life before and after WLS. But, since WLS is almost a central character, you'd think they would be a little bit more interested in the lifestyle and nutritional changes needed to stay healthy and on track for their weight loss goals. I don't recall ever seeing any of them meeting with a nutritionist, nor any meaningful contact with a therapist. So, I'm curious, what do bariatric surgeons think of this show? Good publicity? Or is it frustrating since it sets up these miracle cure expectations?
