I accidentally bought a enhanced hand guard with a regular upper. I picked up the BAR adapter, but this hand guard doesn't want to go over it. Are they normally a tight fit, or do I need to sand it?
However I’m still going to build. This made me smile. Hopefully someone else can too!

Thing runs great, this was a 6 month order direct from AP, I love it but prolly won't buy from AP directly ever again.(this order was made awhile ago)
I woke up at 2:30 am and was determined to do a trigger swap on this 11.3" Aero Precision M4E1 build. I wanted a Single Stage trigger.in this build instead of the Geissele G2S that was in it.
Luckily I had a few options to choose from:
- ALG QMS single stage trigger
- ALG ACT single stage trigger
- CMC Triggers Single Stage Component Combat Curved trigger (4.5lb)
- Radian Vertex Flat Bow Trigger
- Geissele SD-3G Flat Bow Trigger
I narrowed down the options to two; the Radian Vertex and Geissele SD-3G. I ended up going with the Geissele SD-3G. I used the black spring which is the lighter spring. I know it's not technically a single stage trigger -- It's a hybrid but I've used it in another build. It feels like a single stage to me, almost comparable to the SSP but better. if I had a spare SSP then that's what I would went with. Long story short I ended up installing the 3G.
I just got home from the range and couldn't be happier with the swap. Not sure if it is funny or sad that this kept me up at night. It didn't take long to swap out the trigger but still got me thinking about the situation...
Anyone know any sites that have a m4e1 upper receiver in stock?
Could this ve the return of the living dead? Also, anyone want an upper? I already found one months ago and kind of forgot i even ordered it.
Complete Aero Precision .308 M5 Enhanced build that I rattle canned.
Ordered 18” 308 upper December 26th. Called multiple times throughout this process and was told each time it would be about a month yada yada… I just can’t believe that a company is even allowed to sell things that do not physically exist. When I ordered the upper there was no mention of there being any delays of shipment of any kind. The last update I was given is that they are waiting on a barrel. If that is the case then why does ballistic advantage have them in stock (supposedly). Just give me what you owe me aero.
Before you say anything about buying aero from aero, is everyone expected to do research on Reddit before buying from a formally trusted brand?
Aero precision came through for me on the LRBHO cover and spring +2 screws. I received them today, thank you Aero Precision.

So I tried placing an order for the blem enhanced ar-15/ar-10 buffer tube on the AP website. I got an error at the end thinking it was because I put the wrong billing address. Tried it again. Same error only the order went through. I love shoveling my money into a furnace! 😒 maybe I’ll get two buffer tubes in the mail…
