Not Blooming

Hello all! I have 3 different African Violet plants and they all look healthy to me and have been growing, but aside from when I first got them they haven't bloomed. I have an African Violet specific fertilizer that says it help promote blooms and I've been using it as per the directions for (in the largest ones case) about a year.

Any advice for how to get them to bloom? They're under grow lights and aside from not blooming they're my best growing plants.

LE Scales Bloom 🌸

I got this from Dew Violets in May and it's finally blooming. 🌸🌸 She's so pretty 😍

Soil: 50% Rosy Houseplant Soil 50% mini pumice rocks and a dash of limestone

Love the different blooms!

I’ve been rescuing African Violets that are in some rough conditions at the big box stores, and taking them in for some TLC!!

Here are two of my favorites. I repot them into a homemade mix, bottom water, and let the diffused Florida sun do its thing!

I joined this group recently and it’s been unbelievably cool to see the variations and learn from everyone, I’m sure more to come!!

Picked this up with No ID with several others. I love her! She has 2 new leaves in the 2 weeks I have had her.

I picked up quite a few No ID AV’s. This is by far the coolest, but I am partial to variegated.

Can anyone make me pretty?

I've been messing with this mini for too long now, adding and removing a paper towel snip, testing out what it looks like with this or that leaf gone. I'm tired. Can anyone offer suggestions to make it nice and symmetrical? TIA!

She just keeps getting prettier

Turns out all she needed was a gentle grow light. She's so happy! Thanks to everyone here for sharing your tips and tricks.

The contrast between this ruffled white/purple and the deep blue double is insane. Which one is your favorite? 🌸

Help my leaves!

I have it in an African violet pot and have it in indirect light from my grow lights. The soil still seems to be wet in the African violet pot and I don’t want it to rot. The inner leaves seem to be browning while the outer leaves have yellow tips. It’s my first African violet and I don’t want it to die 😭
