New african violets are a little wilted :(

Only got these a couple of days ago and they are looking like this.... maybe they are still adjusting to the environment, and i've yet to water them (i plan to do this today...) will they perk back up or should i cut the old blooms to make room for new ones?

My February crop of minis is starting to flower! I’m so glad I got a violet violet lol I keep getting pink. They are all growing so different.

Seed grow from nadeau’s mini mix under grow lights.

Getting violet to bloom

Had this for about a year and a half now and had a bunch of flowers when I got it and hasn't since, it's winter here now so I know it's not the exactly the right time but want to know if there are any tips to help it bloom. Have it in a south facing window (Australia so not direct sun) with a grow light and have specific violet fertilizer.

Ordered a tiny African violet

I purchased this little guy recently and plan on getting the soil and fertilizer shown in the pictures. Should I also get a mini clear self watering pot for it? Would it be best to leave it in its little cup for a couple days or repot immediately upon arrival? If the plant itself is 2 inches does that mean I need to acquire a 1 inch container? Did I buy a plant too small to survive mailing? Should I wait until it gets here and post again? Sorry, I am really excited! It’s so itty bitty 🥹 so cute ☺️

Transformation and new flowers!!

All thanks to you guys! She hasn’t bloomed in well over a year and the transformation after advice from this site has been amazing!

She's 5 months old

Still in her propagation pot, with a mother leaf attached and about to show her first flower. She's being wick watered and gets constant 50ppm fertilizer in her reservoir. Lately I've noticed that some outer leaves are softer and slightly droopy. Took her out of the pot to see her roots-looks fine to me (or are they really?), there is no smell. Drained her reservoir and decided to let her dry up a bit...any advice?

Reporting?

Hi! I got this lil guy on a whim at home depot for 5 dollars, fully expecting it to die since ive never been able to keep any plants alive. Low and behold, after some finicking with water and light, it lives!! I want to get it out of the plastic pot it came in, but im terrified ill kill it if i move it. I've literally never potted anything in my life, so I need all the tips! Explain it like your explaining it to a toddler! Also need pot recommendations! I've been watering it from the bottom and am very comfortable with that, I know their leaves are sensitive to water. Thank you all in advance! Edit* sorry for my typo in the title lol😅

Rob's Loose Noodle

Weird name, but pretty flowers! My local shop had several new strains and this one came home with me.

Very excited!

I used to have quite the collection

unfortunately I was still new to AVs at the time, got a new AV with the evil virus, forgot to clean my scissors between trimming plants, and wiped out my entire collection :( Apparently one survived, future father in law is taking care of it while I move to my new place across country, but the other 5 were wiped out unfortunately) But I decided it's time to get back into these flowers I love so much 🥰 I may have gone a little overboard but it's FINE 😂

If anyone has these varieties please let me know what you think, tips, any quirks I might need to know, etc!!!

Is this a good pot?

I just received this as a gift and potted it with African violet mix. As the pot is too tall, I filled the bottom half with rocks. It’s only slightly larger than the rootball, as I have done too big of pots in the past and messed up.

Fingers crossed

First time trying to prop. Who knows if it will work, but it doesn’t hurt to try!
