Micro Sinningia growing on volcanic rock

I started Micro Sinningia muscicola light from seed several years ago. And finally got around to putting some on a volcanic rock in a terrarium. Now I’m patiently waiting for moss to cover the rock. I plan to build an octagon aquarium into a Micro Sinningia terrarium with several different micro Sinningia next.

How to water 1600 plants in less than two hours.

How do I water so many plants (1600)? I use a five gallon bucket and a battery powered sprayer with slight modifications. I drilled two holes in the lid of the bucket to allow the handheld to have a place to store. When I’m not using it. I also passed the hose thru a hole in the lid before attaching the filter. I can water all of my plants for a few weeks before charging again. I placed a piece a flexible heat shrink at the end of the sprayer wand without a spray attachment. So that that water flows instead of sprays. My first one was used for about two years then the battery gave out. I tried to buy a battery pack but it was almost the same price as a a new sprayer. So I bought this one for $19 on Walmarts website. And used the old sprayer end and hose on the new one. Took me about a minute to swap them out. I use fertilizer water at the rate of 1/8 teaspoon per gallon or less for all my plants. Often I use 1/2 that amount of fertilizer on the micro. And will use RO water or distilled water periodically. Repotting this many plants requires me to repot around 30-40 every week of the year. 😆 Often I will repot ten each day until I get caught up. Or do a repot day where I repot 140 in six hours.

Micro S. Concinna Grown from seed

I have been told Concinna is usually difficult to get seed from. But luckily I have been able to get seed from it several times this year. It took about four months from seed to bloom. Sadly, it is believed extinct in the wild and hard to find. My hope is to make it more available.

Micro Sinningia Concinna grown from seed I harvested in April. About 4 months from seed to bloom.

I have been told that S. Concinna is hard to get seed from. I have been lucky to get seed several times this year. Sadly, It’s believed extinct in the wild. And is somewhat hard to find.

I’m curios why micro Sinningia are not more popular in Terrarium groups?

They are my favorite plant. But I rarely see them mentioned.

Letter Mail Issues

I started selling rare seeds on Etsy in April 2026. $11-14 with free shipping. I send them out letter mail Which does not have the best tracking. If it’s A $40+ order. Then I use Postage with better tracking and insurance. Three recent orders showed as marked out for delivery. With that being the last tracking update. Which is not unusual. But I have had three recent customers say they never recieved the order and request a refund. I had one today that last showed out for delivery on July 30, 2026. The buyer opened a help request today saying it was never received and requested a refund. So I refunded their money. Is that the best way to handle this? Or is there a better way?

I went down the Dollar Tree Serum Rabbit Hole

And it’s all your fault. A few days ago I did a serum search and a post from this group came up. I’m male 57 and have lost 142 lbs since April 2023. I’m still slowly losing weight. As you can imagine I have some loose skin. And now that i’m losing weight I started caring about wrinkles and fine lines. So I started using A couple Serums on my face, Neck and back of hands. They are not to expensive $12. And seem to be helping over the last few months. Then I saw a post for Dollar Tree Serums and went and loaded up with what they had yesterday. I will continue using what I have and add the new ones at night. It takes me about a month to use a bottle. So I will try them all and pick my favorites.

I sell rare seeds and plants. Debating adding other items.

I started selling rare seeds and plants in Late April 2026. But only average 10-15 listings. In winter it will only be eight items listed. My prices are currently $11-40. In winter they will average $11-14. My sales have totaled $4000 and I have a five star rating. I keep hearing you need 100 listings to really have a good Etsy store. So I'm debating adding plant related Pin Back Buttons and stickers to my store to increase my number of listings. I have also considered offering pots. I'm debating getting the equipment to print/ cut my own plant related pins and buttons and eventually pots. But wonder if they would be a good fit or investment? As the category does seem saturated. The good news is I could ship any stickers or pinback bottons free with any order over $20 as they already pay shipping and ship in A box. My seeds ship free in letter mail. Is there a way to make shipping free on pin or sticker orders over a certain amount or when included with a $35+ order? Before investing in equipment I debate about ordering around twenty each of five different custom stickers to see I get any interest. That would cost $100 or less versus getting $800 on equipment to test out this idea.
